The Boatrower's Hotel restaurant is not widely publicised which is truly regrettable. The dining room is well presented, clean, neat and functional; but it's crowning glory is the quality of the food. The Fisherman's basket is an absolute legend with calamari, fish, oysters, fries and salad. My other half really enjoyed the chicken schnitzel. 10/10 for the Boatrowers.

Kids eat free Saturday night. Awesome! Just need to buy a regular meal to qualify. The kids got to do some colouring in while we waited for our food to arrive.

The kids Spaghetti Bolognese were large and filled up my 9 and 11yr olds. They also got a small ice cream dessert each with sauce and sprinkles. We had calamari to share - was tender and delicious with aoli to dip. Then for mains we got rump steak and pork belly. Both were generous in portion size.

All in all, a fabulous meal. Recommend? Absolutely 💯.

Spent a few days in Stockton , had dinner in the Boatrowers every night . Food and service was excellent. I’m over from Scotland and the staff were so friendly , Kereena was amazing they are so lucky to have her. If you find your self in Newcastle NSW go along to the Boatrowers in Stockton it’s worth the visit

My partner and I came for dinner whilst on holidays. Best feed we have had so far. Seafood pasta and lamb cutlets were amazing. Staff were also very friendly. Great pub, highly recommended!

A classic Stockton Hotel and a must visit. Spend time having a look at the pictures as there is some great history on display. Could do with a tap or two of local craft beer, maybe Method or Shout? Staff friendly and helpful. Don't drive, just pop the bikes on the ferry.
