This park has lovely trees, lawn and concrete slabs, but little else. The camp kitchen was the worst I have seen. Filthy microwave, one kettle and a fridge. No stove or hotplates, just a BBQ. The sink for washing up has no light so you can't see what you are doing. Add to that when you do wash up, no plug and the ultimate joke is the waste outlet is not connected to a drain. It just splashes through the outlet onto your feet and the ground. The showers were filthy and one stall was missing the waste trap - just a hole straight down into the sewer. There is no dump point. The park has no lighting at night and you need a torch to see your way to the amenties block.

What a fantastic campsite a lot of thought has gone into the layout for when you are reversing a caravan the concrete pads are at an angle which is just brilliant. The staff are very friendly and the ablutions are very clean but just need updating. The hot springs are just down the road which the shire has put a lot of work into with a cafe at the top where you can get breakfast or a coffee. I would go back to this caravan park 🙂

Rooms were disgraceful. Asked for another room and it was worse. Got a refund and moved north to Pine Creek. 100% improvement.
Some people go into the accommodation business simply to extract as much cash as possible by not doing any maintenance. I couldn't help but notice, in my experience, they appear to come from the Indian sub-continent.
I told them the blinds don't work, neither does the toilet. The front desk guy replied 'The toilet does work - it's just that the water won't shut off'. It works all right, all the time.

Paid caravan site. Not just a site, a large grassy site with power and water backing onto a large open play area. Safely locked up after dark. The best site since leaving Melbourne.

Liked the spacing of the vans. It is a bit difficult to get in and around with a big van. And they lock the gates at 9.00pm

Just a simple park but spotless large amenities which have been rare to find on our touring out west,Nice big cemented sites ,would recomend this park if stopping in Katherine overnight.
