Nice local .. comfortable.. service is adequate... never friendly or attentive .. adequate.
Have never eaten as the food is overpriced, especially in comparison to other venues. Potato wedges are $13 🤯 chicken wings are $20 ! I don't know how they do their costings But anyway .. the venue is tidy.

Great local hotel in McMahons Point. Perfect for a quick catch up with friends or a cleansing ale. Lots of sections to sit inside and outside. I live the slightly quieter comfy seating options at the rear for dinner that also boast a bit of a water view.

Great food options. Excellent wines by the glass.

I have been going here for over 20 years and have never had a bad time or bad experience yet!

We had the Sunday roast and prawn linguine both were great. Very enjoyable!

Have had lunch here on a number of occasions and have enjoyed the food until today when I had the roast of the day, pork. There was no crackling and in fact the skin was attached to the meat, however, not crisp. The Yorkshire pudding was so stodgy it was inedible and the only green vegetables were a small number of peas.
Will return for another go but won’t have the roast.

Underwhelming!! Has there been a change in owners ? Wine list is ordinary, menu is average. This place was once so good. What’s happening? I only hope the new development up the hill opens soon so someone here lifts their game.

Hotel review- rooms were great value for money and comfy, big windows and fans for hot days but could do with AC. Friendly staff. Lovely laidback location in north Sydney. Shared bathrooms are a bit dated though.

This pub is no longer dog friendly! Dogs ok out the front (enclosed smoking area) and courtyard only. Not in the pub. This is a recent change. Used to be a great pub to relax with friendly staff.
