We ordered dumplings, they were quite delicious, a sausage roll which was huge but lacked flavour, a quiche which my partner thoroughly enjoyed and our son had kids waffles.. I think the photos speak for themselves. One waffle for $14.50 which came out over cooked - literally burnt. It tasted stale and overall just foul.
We went when there wasn’t many people in so I really don’t understand how you could burn something so easy and still decide to serve it to a KID!
Definitely won’t be back in a hurry nor suggest it to other people.

Quick coffee and drink review. In a word, serviceable; however, their larger menu needs to be explored further before I can give this place a fair review
The staff were friendly, the drinks were standard. The photos I've seen from other reviews shows that this place may be a potential silent winner. Given its on a campus and just outside a museum, they get plenty of traffic and have earnt their reputation

Truth is, we only popped in for a quick soft drink after walking around the neighbouring museum, so I can't really comment on service or food. This said, yep, all the customers seemed happy, the music was pleasant, and I felt that vibe that all successful eateries seem to have.

I would describe it as chic casual.

As an aside, I didn't find the staff particularly friendly. I smiled at them as we left and one practically glared at me. Hence the 4 and not 5 stars.

A pretty good place for brunch, and you can also order via a QR code that is table-identified. Food portions slightly on the small side but was good quality. Only negative for a diabetic like me was no artificial sweeteners for my coffee. I think most other places have them as standard.

Food is nice but needs more shush to make you want to go back and spend that kind of coin. Coffee was good but service was lacking.

How it’s changed since the first time we came to Launceston ten years ago. What I can’t understand is how the council can let this whole precinct become so run down have they got no time to do some gardening and maintenance, seriously!

This delightful cafe offers a stunning Asian-inspired breakfast. During our visit, we tried the omelette and the congee, a delectable rice dish with pork. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The service was sensational, with friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. The ambiance of the cafe is charming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Dinner for two. We had the $40 for two course special which was amazing value. Main was eye fillet (which was in place of the usual steak on the menu). Steak was Devine, just as good as any fine dining restaurant in the city. Staff were great, without being overbearing. We couldn’t believe the place wasn’t full on a Saturday night when the food and value for money was so good. Locals need to support this place!
