We loved this place. Private entrance with a key box access means that you don't have to interact with anyone unless you want to. Having said that we did meet Brian the owner in the driveway and he is a great host and sensitive to your needs.||||The room is quite unique. One large room with a fixed screen between the comfortable bed and the large spa bath. Everything very clean and organised and heating was incredible (zero degs outside at night). Dvd/TV iPod docking clock radio, refrigerator all great. Very fast wifi connection too. A coffee pod maker as well but we didn't use it. Generous breakfast food provided. Nice butter, jams, cereals, tea bags (and coffee) and a lovely loaf of fresh wholemeal sour dough bread to toast. All your cookery and glasses provided and a microwave if you need it. We thought the complimentary chocolates and red wine were nice, welcoming touches. The room is tucked under the main house but looks out onto a private part of a native garden. There's a place to sit outside in the morning sun too. We didn't spend any day time in the room as we were there to walk the Grand Canyon and eating out in Blackheath day & night is spectacular BUT ALL evening restaurants need booking in advance. We had done this on one of our nights but the other left us being turned away from several places and waiting for 20 minutes for a shared table at the bistro. It is a romantic room because it's so cosy in the winter and very very private.

The garden suite has a balcony opening to a small delightful garden. The garden room and finishing very cosy and cheerful. The owners have little personal touches that you don't get in a hotel or motel. The room is more of a side apartment to the main house and has a little pantry area with microwave and coffee making facility. You come to expect coffee sachets in hotel rooms but here you have pod in of bread we have eaten. |The restaurants area the area caters for wife variety. The Thai Silk restaurant serves excellent meals! |The Rhododendron Garden is just down the road.|We would definitely come back here in future. We have a most delightful stay.

This is a charming B&B in the Blue Mountains. The hosts made us most welcome with a generous supply of everything needed for breakfast, plus a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates. Their tips on local sights to visit were much appreciated. We enjoyed the small private courtyard attached to the garden suite. Proximity to the rhododendron gardens was a plus. Highly recommended.

Lovely room in an amazingly quiet location at a great price. The bed was comfortable and it would have been lovely to sit out on the little private deck but unfortunately it was raining during my stay. Incredibly generous breakfast provisions were provided. You can even make your own cappuccino as there is a milk frother and capsule coffee machine provided.||The host was attentive and provided clear directions on how to get there.||Entertainment was also catered for with a good range of dvds.||What else could you ask for

All the other B&B I had been was to share a bedroom in a big house with cooked breakfast, sitting area (with books, piano, open fire and TV etc.) was sharable and accessible. But this B&B only provides a single bedroom with the rest of the house being locked up, we were totally isolated, this is really mean. There is a tiny garden but view is perfectly blocked by some plant fence, it’s quite stuffy without open view toward anywhere. The host has converted hallway into a kitchenette but there is not washing sink & benchtop, etc. if we want to wash food/dish, we have to wash it in toilet. There were some basic food (bread, milk and cereal) provided, without cooked breakfast & shared sitting area, I am not sure if this is a qualified B&B? The host requested all customers to sign a registration form to ask people to keep the site clean, but I have seen dead fly on garden table, rotten fruits on drive way, spider net on the balcony door and stains on the carpet. The Host even didn’t get the site cleaned up before asking customer to keep it clean. There was no rubbish bin / bag provided in the bedroom and kitchenette, we had to use our own bag as a rubbish bin, this is really annoying.

We spent two nights in kalimna. The spa was wonderful and the bed comfortable with crisp white sheets. Brian our host was kind and helpful. Our room had a very efficient heater and a lovely leafy green outlook.
