My experience at Blackfish Cafe & Grill was unforgettable. I ordered the takeaway toasted sourdough chicken club sandwich (pictured) - love. at. first. bite. Very flavourful and balanced. I also really liked the friendly staff and beautiful surrounds.

Lovely little spot that the locals try to keep secret! The view is just gorgeous and the food is simple but yummy.

I enjoyed an eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. $18 and the smoked salmon was plentiful.

Good coffee. Great smoothie. We’ve found our new spot ?

Visited your cafe today for the very first time. We loved the ambience and atmosphere of this place right by the water.
We had the corn and quinoa fritters and the vegetarian brekkie with added eggs, they were delicious.
We enjoyed our coffees and our food and we look forward to returning soon.

It was a milestone birthday lunch for me, and Blackfish Cafe was a perfect venue to celebrate with family and friends. The food was delicious and had generous servings. The kitchen and wait staff were friendly, helpful and obliging. Leading up to the day, I was in email contact with owner Daniel who was very accommodating. I highly recommend Blackfish if you’re looking for a venue that has a beautiful waterfront location, serves good food and makes diners feel happily welcome. A toast to Blackfish ?

What a gorgeous little gem of a cafe. Today was my first time visiting, it's location is just beautiful. I called an hour before and they kindly reserved a table for us. Beautiful and friend staff. We ordered from the lunch menu. Our Hot chocolates were delicious, the food was pretty good too. It was a little fresh but they have blankets on the chairs if you need one. The views and birds are just gorgeous. Will be going again for breaky ☺️.
There is a reserve next to it which was lovely to walk around. Great spot to take kids.

The atmosphere here is amazing, it's really nice. Right on the river, try to get a seat outdoors if you can.
The service is really really nice and lovely, however....they lack in professionalism only slightly. I hate to say something negative about the servers because they were absolutely lovely but small things like returning to our table more than 3 times to clarify information about our order slightly diminishes the experience. Other than that, service is perfect.
The coffee is great.
The food is a stand out here. Very good prices for very decent serving sizes. The food tastes incredible, I cannot fault it at all. The eggs are cooked to absolute perfection. There are so many vegetarian and vegan options at breakfast time and the ingredients are health conscious and fresh and really good.
Come here for a nice meal and nice coffee and amazing view and atmosphere.

Went there with my young daughter today, Sunday 25 August. I spoke to a young woman who looked like she was the manager. She asked "You have a booking!?" I said no. She looks at us like we've done something stupid and says "Go and sit at one of the two seaters." Turning aways from us as she said this. We sit down, I order. The hot chocolate came out for my daughter, and placed on the table. The manager brings the food and drops it on the table. Even my daughter thought that was rude. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but then saw her speaking to and sit down with a couple of her friends and she was fine. If a booking has to be made before coming, all she had to do was say that. There were plenty of staff working so she wasn't run off her feet and in a hurry when she dropped the plate on the table. She's just rude man.
