Popped in for two nights while doing training nearby. Checking in and out was extremely easy due to the electronic system on the doors. Room was really clean, quiet and dark at night and the shower was great. No complaints at all! The Crib Restaurant is right there and super tasty too.

We had a fantastic experience at the Black Gold Motel. The service from checking in to out was smooth, staff very polite and helpful. Rooms were very nice, clean, warm, and comfortable. Meals were some of the best we've had, accommodated for Gluten free in most meals which was great for this ceoliac. Thanks for a great motel

Food is terrific. Monday night in the restaurant wasn't too busy, but suggest you book any other night (!)|Great gluten free choices, and felt safe as a celiac as staff were aware and food comes out flagged. Also gluten free cribs available to take to work.|We had some heavy frosts during the stay but the bedrooms stayed warm. Plenty of hot water.

My partner and i stayed overnight on our way to mudgee. Booked the restaurant for dinner and the food was really nice. However two staff made unnecessary comments to my partner that made her feel quite uncomfortable. One about her order and the other about her attire. However I will say that the other staff were respectful and welcoming. Just a shame that 2 of the staff put a damper on our stay.

Immaculately clean and bed is comfy! Definitely a great value for its price. Location is accessible to the Japanese Bath House. Staff are outstanding! Easy to use wifi, able to cast movie on the tv monitor, and had our coffee delivered first thing in the morning. Thank you!

Loved this accommodation. |It was very clean, comfortable and warm. |The owners and staff were very friendly.|We booked for two nights but ended up staying for 3.|They also have the Crib Room restaurant where we dined for 2 nights. The restaurant service was exceptional and the food was of great standard.|You wont be disappointed staying here.

The experience was seamless for our overnight stay! I chose this motel as it was close to Lithgow, but it had the serenity just on the outskirts, without the hustle and bustle.

I was provided with clear instructions on how to enter our room, without even attending reception. Great for people whom prefer contactless. Upon entering the room, it was the cleanest and tidiest motel experience we have ever had, which made it feel like home. Whomever your housekeepers are, thank you so much!!!

There were very clear instructions on how to log onto Chromecast which is fantastic, and other amenities. The room was cosy and quiet. The restaurant was so lovely and friendly to our child whom walked over to get some milk for coffee/tea. The outdoor table was a nice touch to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Will try the restaurant next time, as have heard great reviews, just unfortunately we had plans for dinner that night. They had pre-purchase lunch packs that you can arrange. Would love to have an early breakfast option, as we had to leave early for an all-day event in Lithgow.

A great experience. Would definitely stay at Black Gold Motel again. A great stopover stay, or if you attend the Lithgow area. Thank you!!!
