I have just spent a week at Birdsong and can easily recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for excellent accommodation to get away from it all - but still in close distance to Bellingen, the coast and Dorrigo.

The cottage is just perfect with a super comfy bed, a lovely deep bath and shower. The swinging day bed is a fave, with a good book and great place for a snooze....and out the back the views of the paddock (with goats) and that mountain behind it... The kitchen is well equipped with everything you'll need. Internet was patchy but owners are looking into that - I still got calls and messages so not completely out of contact.

I had a perfect week and will definitely be coming back. Thanks.
