I have just stayed at The Birches for the third time. The first visit was 3 years ago and then twice, a week apart in the last 10 days.

The residence is exquisitely beautiful, lavishly & tastefully decorated and overall outstanding. Our suite was superb.

Ken & Mark are wonderful hosts, obviously relishing their role.

There isn't a thing to not rave about and after my first visit there with our daughter, I didn't even consider looking at any other accommodation for hubby & myself this time around.

5 stars on every count & if you stay there you won't be disappointed.

Ken and Mark are the consummate hosts. The rooms are amazing, the breakfast was wonderful. My wife loved all of the flowers in every space of the home, too! Incredibly relaxing time with two great people. We will be back for sure!

Stayed at Birches B & B TAREE, overnight on 16th August, ‘24.
Was delighted with what I found. The room, or rather, Suite, was exemplary,, offering great comfort and modernity, in a charming home and garden .
Was entirely unprepared for the personal and attentive nature of Ken and also Mark.
So very glad I chose Birches, and highly recommend it.

From the moment we arrived at The Birches B & B, in Taree, we were encouraged to make ourselves right at home. The beautiful house and gardens were aesthetically remarkable and comfortable, with lots of high quality touches to indulge ourselves with. Obviously, Ken and Mark have put a lot of thought into making their guests feel relaxed and catered for.
After settling in, we were offered a welcome drink and it was great to unwind and share interesting conversation around the table, with our hosts and the other guests.
In the morning, (at our nominated time), Ken made a restaurant quality breakfast with real coffee, (or tea, if you preferred). Absolutely scrumptious!
The whole experience was extraordinary value.
Thank you Ken and Mark for a fabulous stay and your outstanding service.

From the minute we called to book to our departing farewell, our stay was exceptional. Birches provides a comfortable bed, luxurious rooms and scrumptious breakfast. Every small detail has been considered. The house and gardens are beautiful. The highlight however are the warm and charming hosts Ken and Mark. Thank you from Chris and Bill. We hope to return.

The men running this beautiful BnB are by far the friendliest and kind people we have had the pleasure of meeting on our travels. Both super knowledgeable about the town and surrounding towns.
The property is stunning and leagues above other options available in town. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout and very homely, while still being elegant and upscale.
Overall we were made to feel so comfortable and welcome and the men where like visiting family 🙂

What a delight to stay here! The renovations and decor are tasteful and relaxing and the rooms spacious. There are inviting outdoor areas to sit, to have a cuppa or wine, with a semi-enclosed deck at the back or the verandah areas around the front of the house. ||Everything is spotless and the king-sized bed we had was extremely comfortable. The hosts are very welcoming and entertaining! || As they now also own a restaurant, breakfast is served there. We both had a healthy version of bacon and eggs, mine with avocado. Very yummy.||We will be staying here again when we need to go south.
