Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at "Birch Lane". Such a cosy, home from home experience. The bed was so comfortable and all the little extras, with breakfast provided, helped to make it a memorable stay. Pity we couldn't stay longer. Beautiful country garden and stunning views in the Huon Valley. Thoroughly recommend!

Lovely area with a pasture of cattle right behind. The host was really sweet to include eggs, milk and bread in the fridge for our breakfast. Also, we were stranded because the road was flooded and she gave us very clear instructions on how to get back.

Just one thing which was it was very cold in the room and toilet even with the heater on.

We enjoyed our country stay away from traffic,people and noise.
Everything has been given the greatest detail in this accommodation.
Owner so helpful with local resturants and were to go.
You need a car to stay here.
Great bed,all home comforts and a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook.
We will be back.

The accommodation was cosy and clean. All facilities were good. The owners even provide breakfast: eggs, milk, bread, jams, coffee, tea. All equipment were clean and tidy. Nice plates and bowls. There is a farm at the back of the accommodation. The cattles and calves recognise people quickly. The bed has a warmer and the living room has heater but the heater in the toilet is not that strong so it was very cold over there.
The place is way inside the area. But the porch light is on for safety & parking purposes. The owners were very helpful in giving us directions when we were stuck in road closure due to flooding. Overall experience was very good.

Amazing farm stay in the middle of the Huon Valley. Well appointed rooms with all the things you need if you're based in the area for a few days or more. A short drive into Cygnet with lots of great eating options nearby.
