As we sit by the pool and watch our kids for the last hour of our stay we reflect on how great this place is for families. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The pool is great and the water slide area is by far the best at any of these caravan parks. Food trucks at night if you want a night off from cooking. 10mins drive from the best beaches on the coast. Its like a little fiji resort on our doorstep.

Yes, you are under a flight path, yes there are mossies at night time. But let's be honest. Wankers will always find something to complain about. That's just life.

If you are looking for a holiday that will please kids and parents alike this is the place. We will be back for sure. Thanks Big 4.

Stayed in one of the newer cabins; very nice and comfortable as far as cabins go. The billabong made for excellent paddle boarding and the kids loved all the pools and activities. The cafe was staffed by lovely people and had really good coffee and food. We will definitely stay there or in another big 4 again.

Great caravan park. One of the best I've stayed at. Waterpark is excellent. The staff were fantastic. Communication prior to booking was great. Facilities were top notch - jumping pillow, pools, playgrounds (one for under 6 yo and one for older kids), amazing camp kitchen and lounge area, billabong was beautiful - with kayaking & SUP. Sites were perfect and amenities were great - including the family bathrooms. Location is great - not too far if you want to drive to the Gold Coast. Couldn't fault them for anything ?

The single spilt style air-conditioning unit in the living room meant that we couldn't close the bedroom doors to cool the entire cabin, which we would have preferred to run the fans. Only, the fan in the bunk bed room was far too noisy, and the fan in the queen size room sounded as if it was rolling away. We also came across quiet a few dirty kitchen items, not that Billabong are really at fault for this, rather the previous people to have stayed and not cleaned properly prior to putting stuff away. Not the greatest place for mobile phone reception, and with the windows shut for the air-conditioning to work, it blocks any chance the WiFi has of working. All in all, a wonderful holiday 2 years in a row.

Loved this place, central to all attractions. Comfort clean cabins, very family orientated| No need to leave the park, unless you want to. Staff were excellent, hood old fashioned service. Recommend thus place to stay. Many attractions around the Tweed or even beautiful Rainbow Beach.

Amazing. We had such a beautiful long weekend here, relaxing around the Billabong, kayaking, swimming and having fun in the water slides area, enjoyed delicious pizza from the food trucks on the Saturday night. Staff are so lovely, each and every one of them, helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Cant rate this place high enough. Will definitely be back again and again!

Awesome friendly park and staff with lots to do for the kids.
the billabong is crawling with sea creatures (hard to catch though) Toilets where well looked after and even have fans and music in them.
Only down side is the highway noise and the planes taking off but after 3 days we got used to them.
loved our stay otherwise. Cheers guys

Absolutely loved our weekend away. Staff are friendly and helpful, kids loved everything there, waterslides, pool, SUP in the lagoon, pedal carts and coffee van. Great location so we could venture out. Our cabin was amazing, a family of 5 in a beautiful 3 bedroom villa, wish we could stay longer. We will definitely come back.
