BIG4 Narooma Easts Holiday Park - Narooma, New South Wales

A wonderful stay in beautiful Narooma was made even better by choosing to stay at the Big4. Its fantastic with the water park for the kids and plenty of other activities. The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be staying again in the future!!!

For the exorbitant price we were charged for a powered site at the western campground, I would have expected a great deal more. The amenities were really old with toilet doors that didn’t shut and terrible showers. Very basic facilities with only a bbq area, not full camp kitchen. Had to cross the road to access pool area which was unclean and mostly shut by 7pm. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

We stayed at the caravan park for 6 nights during October school holidays in our caravan with 2A and 3 kids under 6.
The splash park is an absolute winner. The kids loved the waterslides and the ‘hot pool’ in the room next door. There is a big outdoor pool however it’s not heated, so we didn’t use it much.
The park is really clean and very kid friendly. The staff were very friendly and were extremely helpful at directing us how to reverse our caravan in. Being right on the water, when the tide goes out the kids can play on the sand and search for sea creatures.
It was a great stay and we would come back.
It would be nice if there was a playground in the campground for the kids to play on, however there is a playground about 500m down the road.

A side note- our caravan and 6 other people we met at this park, water hoses didn’t reach to the tap for the allotted site. There wasn’t anywhere nearby that stocked that type of drinking hose. Maybe the taps are a bit further away than normal. Not sure, but it wasn’t an anomaly

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at BIG4 Narooma East Holiday park, and we cannot say enough about Roger’s exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond, guiding us to our site and always being so friendly and approachable. When we encountered an issue with our caravan that could have ruined our stay, Roger took it upon himself to resolve the problem for us (!!), and continuously checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. He answered all our questions, was always up for a chat, and genuinely made us feel welcome.

Roger's wonderful personality and eagerness to help truly set this place apart. The park itself is perfect for families: beautiful, well-maintained sites and great facilities for kids, especially the indoor area. We were so impressed with the service that we extended our stay because of how well we were looked after. Thank you, Roger (and your beautiful wonderful team of employees), for making our stay so memorable. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did!

Unfortunately one of the staff was not the friendliest or pleasant. They came to close the rec room which we weren’t aware closes at 8.30pm. There were no pleasantry’s from the staff member at all. Just an “I’m closing”. Also I’m not sure why but you need different access for the pool. Ensure that you get this on arrival. Despite this the park was very clean and tidy.

Let me start by saying we have stayed at many caravan parks over the years, not only was this the most expensive, but the worst cabin we have stayed in. We checked in around 5pm, we were not aware we needed a wristband to access the amusement amenities, nor were we offered them on arrival. The cabin we were allocated looked like it was built in the 50s and was in disrepair, bits out of the wall which were just painted over, badly cracked tiles in the bathroom, a new sink had been fitted in the bathroom and not retiled, there was a shower curtain. We had to request shampoo and conditioner, a sign in the bathroom read they were trying to save the environment by not supplying the plastic containers, there are other ways to provide these products. My nephew visited us one of the days we were there, I saw a sign stating the requirement for a wristband so went to the office to request one for him, I was charged $47.00 for the use of it for half a day, I still wasn’t informed I also needed one as the one I purchased was a child’s band and I needed an adult band to access the facilities, so back to the office I went and finally got admission to the pool etc. the water feature was great for the kids.Then there was the WiFi, which was free but inaccessible, so back to the office I went, the staff member said it was due to the number of people trying to use their network, ok, so I tried again at 6am the next morning but to no avail, I don’t think there would have been too many people trying to access it at that hour! I didn’t see many parents supervising their children riding bikes, perhaps the park could provide someone to check on kids before one gets hit by a car as they were riding bikes dangerously. On saying all that the park is in a wonderful location,

We stayed at this caravan park for a third time. We absolutely LOVE IT!
We had a great spot for our caravan with ensuite, which is roomy for the whole family of 4 and the water pressure is fantastic.

The views from the park are great. It’s directly on the shore, short walk from all shops( across the street) and short drive to beautiful villages and towns. The wildlife is just amazing ( seals on the beachfront, whales, stingrays, plenty of fish, hundreds of crabs, starfish, birds). Not far from kids friendly beach (5min drive) and close to amazing restaurants/eateries. Our kids just loved it. Being right on the water, when the tide goes out the kids can look for crabs and play with the sand.
Narooma has so much to offer.

I even lost my iWatch there, and realised it after returning home. They looked for it for me. And the watch was return.

Great location. Maybe being a Big 4 member with 10% discount cost us. Seems we got the least level site in the park on a mat despite plenty of other alternatives throughout the park. Lady seemed abrupt but maybe just having a bad day. Amenities are top notch, plenty of sites and right on the river. $65pn is up there for non members but it is a very nice town.
