BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park - Helensvale, Queensland

We were a family of six staying in the 3 bedroom Oasis Retreat. Close park location to the pool facilities. The cabin is basically brand new. Air con in the lounge, 2 main bedrooms but not the bunk room. No oven (so not a full kitchen as advertised), don’t make the mistake of buying chicken nuggets and chips like us thinking you could cook them! Other than this the cabin was fantastic.
Pools are awesome. Id say the main pool being heated was about 30degrees and this was early Feb. Spa also hot. Slides are cold/ not heated…kids enjoyed it though. Food options looked good including pizza oven. Drinks were expensive.
Location is great being close to theme parks, supermarkets and fast food/ dinner options just down the road. Better than we expected.

The BEST caravan park we’ve stayed at on our trip. Our accommodation was super clean, well equipped and relaxing. The gardens are well maintained and the foliage gave good privacy between cabins whilst still allowing plenty of light.
The beds were SO comfy, probably the best sleep we’ve had on our whole trip.
The kids loved the pool and splash pad.
So close to the theme parks and supermarkets.

My partner and I had a great stay in a caravan en-suite site near the pool. Facilities were great, clean and tidy. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only downside was the unsupervised children in the pool area. I asked a few kids were their parents were and they said back at the caravan. So one young lad was only 8 and at the pool on his own. Jumping in the spa and being a menace. Other than that it was is a great place to stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Big4 Helensvale, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I also had the chance to enjoy their food options, and I can’t fault them! We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Big 4 Gold Coast caravan park. The facilities were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The park is in a fantastic location, with plenty of space for the kids to play. The camp kitchen was well-equipped, and the amenities were modern and clean. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and how everything was so well-maintained. It’s clear the team takes great pride in their work. We can’t wait to come back again—highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We are local and only drive less than 30 minutes to get here but we keep coming back because the kids have a blast. They love the water slides, and the zip line in the playground. We love the clean amenities and the camp kitchen is great if your own campsite cooking setup doesn’t have everything you need. There are fridges, multiple grills, stove tops, microwaves, kettles, toasters, vending machines for snacks, and several sinks for easy cleanup if you cook at your campsite and just want to wash the dishes. We also really appreciate the family bathroom which makes it much easier to clean up little kids when Mum and Dad can both be in the bathroom together.

Perfect Family Getaway!

Our stay at the Big 4 Holiday Park on the Gold Coast was nothing short of fantastic! We stayed in the Oasis 3-Bedroom Retreat, and it was absolutely perfect for our large group. The space was generous, newly and beautifully renovated, and incredibly practical with three separate toilets and bathrooms—such a bonus for a group!

The retreat was ideally located, just a short stroll to the pools, water park, and activity centre, keeping everyone entertained. The amenities and layout truly catered to families and larger groups.

We highly recommend this holiday park and can’t wait to visit again soon!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a destination thoughtfully designed with families in mind.

The family-friendly facilities are exceptional. The kids were in heaven with the water park, and playground, while the heated pool ensured fun for everyone, regardless of the weather. Allowing us parents to relax and unwind. The entire resort feels safe and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

We stayed in one of their Oasis cabins, and it was perfectly planned for a family getaway. The cabin was modern, clean, and equipped with everything we needed, from a fully functional kitchen to comfortable bedding and a spacious living area. The layout was intuitive, making it easy to settle in and enjoy our time without any hassle.

The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They greeted us with warm smiles, offered detailed information about the resort and local attractions, and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests.

So far it’s been great! Looking forward to the rest of our stay.
