We stayed here 11-18 January and had the best time. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The park grounds were very well maintained and it was great to see the staff taking care of it daily. We had minor issue with the hot water in the kitchen and it was fixed promptly. The go carts were easy to book and a fun, yet tiring activity. Our girls loved the scavenger hunt and the big pillow. The staff were friendly and helpful. The daily food trucks were a nice touch- pizza, Thai, donuts are a must! Close to the beach and a great base to explore the region.

Nice little place to stop in for a couple nights.
We wanted to pay to upgrade to a bigger cabin but we were told couldn't as we booked through booking.com...? Although we weren't in the cabin for much of the time, it was average. Bathroom / shower was tiny, but it did have everything we needed for a short stay. We had to drive in town to go to the actual beach. If you wanted to go swimming, you had to walk to the boat ramp / somewhere close to it or through a side access point into the river. Unfortunately no pool either which sucked because it was stinking hot! Our toddler loved the park, it was massive, as well as the jumping pillow. Staff were lovely. Town only a few mins drive away.

This is our second time staying. We absolutely love this campsite. Lots of room on the powered grass sites. The amenity’s always clean and modern. The cafe is a lovely touch, enjoyed my morning coffee there while my son jumped on the bouncy pillow. Staff were friendly and helpful at every opportunity. Highly recommend. Also bonus that it’s so close to the boat ramp and it’s dog friendly!

Stayed for 3 nights over Australia Day Weekend. Had a great time. Powered grass site was very large, great amenities and clean. Big camp kitchen. Staff were friendly and amazing helping us with an electric cord that I left at home. Nice walks and view of the water. Cant wait to take my grand kids there as they would love the park and jumping pillow. Cafe with coffee and other essentials. Only 4 km to town. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay over Christmas/New Year period. Family of 4 in a 2 bedroom spa cabin. Cabins are clean, but old and in need of some updating. The park is missing a pool or water play area for kids and some shade over the playground. Unfortunately we were denied fresh towels and advised they were not changed until day 8/9 of our stay (after originally being told it was day 5). Would recommend bringing your own, especially with busy kids, they get dirty quickly! There are laundry facilities to wash your own towels. Check in and out was easy and the text message communication from management was simple and effective.

Great little park, shame it has no pool. The staff were brilliant. Had several messages telling us about the different food vans each night and reminders on noise levels. Showers are a little dated but free and hot! Great location by the boat ramp to watch the sunset and the town is a short drive away.

Amazing stay at the Big 4 Rainbow beach. We camped at their unpowered site. What makes this place totally different is the level of cleanliness of their amenities. Clean nice toilet with hot shower. Heaps of barbie. Spacious aircon kitchen with fridge provided as well. Didn’t have trouble with our neighbors so that’s a bonus. Very happy with our stay🏕️

Grassed powered site was spacious. We had a large storm and flash flooding, thankfully we were on higher ground and didn't get swamped.
The amenities we used were old but functional for the most part.
I thought they may clean them more often in peak time (only once a day, sometimes longer).
Midgies are horrid.
Staff were ok, reception staff nice but ground staff were not rude but not friendly.
Probably wouldn't come back if given another option.
Not bad but not amazing.
