Used powered tent site. The park has great amenities, showers are great and full camp kitchen. Loved the kangaroos and birds and saw my first ever platypus in the creek. Great place to stay.

Our 2nd visit to this area and can’t believe the major improvement in accommodation, restaurant and infrastructure. We stayed in a deluxe cabin, which was amazing. Great facilities to cook our meal. Every cabin has a fire pit with wood delivered daily. There is accommodation of very level - camping with shared facilities, powered sites, glamping tents with and without ensuite and the new cabins. |Previously we had an ensuite tent and enjoyed using the camp kitchen for the bbq. Both times were fantastic. We will definitely be returning as could never tire of hiking in gorges and surprises they offer.

A great place to get away from the city and explore nature. It has powered sites with water, a dump point, restaurant that serves one selection each night that you order at reception, a bar with snacks 4-6 pm, a coffee Cafe, really good camp kitchens with pizza ovens and convenience items in the shop but no fresh food. The creek behind the camp sites has platypuses and there's a decent swimming section in the creek. It's near the national park for walks to gorges, but you need to drive to the main walking track and tourist info centre.

Great location in the NP. Park is spacious with lots of wildlife. Close to all the walking tracks. Aim to stay at least 3-4 nights to give yourself time to do all the walks over a couple of days. Staff were friendly, and the nightly welcome video presentation was very helpful.

Absolutely beautiful location, wonderfully kept park with the friendliest staff! Definitely grab yourself an iced coffee at the bar while you're there, the barista is excellent! Excellent location for doing the amazing walks/hikes in the gorge. Plus you may see a platypus in the creek! Also worth booking a night safari tour... incredible! The food at the cafe/restaurant is awesome and the general store is well stocked. Would love to come back again!

We went to Carnarvon in mid October. Thank goodness for the AC in our studio cabin! We walked very early in the mornings & had quite rest of the day to avoidthe heat. Facilities at the camp grounds are very good. Carnarvon gorge is spectacular!

Lovely people who helped me a lot (tips for the stunning hikes in carnarvon george, helped me out with fuel, had a lovely beer and dinner with them) and a very well looked-after campground with very clean and spacious facilities. 100% recommend!

We stayed on a caravan site. Beautiful.location, good facilities, great park,loads of Roos,Wallabies platypus & turtles to look for.. EXCELLENT staff, after an incident on the road they were very accommodating. Recommend Moss Gardens ,Ward Canyon ,Art Gallery & Amphitheatre. All very beautiful...
