A fantastic spot with such a cozy vibe. We went to this cafe for brunch today. The chai latte is absolutely top-notch—perfectly spiced. I also tried the corn fritters with mushrooms, and they were delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. If you’re looking for a place with great food, amazing chai, and a relaxed vibe, this is it. Highly recommend! nice little gem hidden in a quiet and welcoming place. despite being nearly fully occupied they managed to serve timely and delicious meals. will be visiting again.

Yummy! It’s a small but cozy space. seating can be in short supply but the staff helped everyone find a spot. It was a bit cold with the door open but the food was good!! Corn fritters and a BLAT and very good hot chocolate made for a very yummy Saturday afternoon.

I visited this cafe last Saturday. I ordered the Corn fritters and Honey Cinnamon Latte.Their corn fritters are a standout dish. They are perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The food here is consistently excellent, and the friendly staff make every visit a pleasure. If you're for looking for the best corn fritter this is it! And oh, the Honey Cinnamon Latte was perfect for a cold winter morning.

I had a terrible experience at this café due to the lack of professionalism and blatant disregard for proper service standards.

First, they delivered our food to the wrong table, where it sat for about 10 minutes. We had no idea it was ours until they brought over our chips with the wrong sauce. When they realized their mistake, they took the food back from the incorrect table, went into the kitchen, and 30 seconds later brought those same plates out to us. I mentioned that the dishes had been sitting at another table for about 10 minutes, to which the server responded that no one had touched them (how would she know?) and that the food was still hot (it was cold).

The chips were still served with the wrong sauce, so I asked the waitress to fix it. Shockingly, she reached into my bowl of chips with her bare hands to remove the sauce! We immediately told her that she had just touched our food. Additionally, they brought the wrong coffee, and our food was cold. They took the dishes away to supposedly redo them, but I’m not sure if they simply reheated them because they still brought back the chips with the wrong sauce. We had to request yet again for aioli, and they brought mayonnaise instead.

Throughout this entire experience, we did not receive a single apology.

In short, a highly disappointing experience with absolutely no professionalism or courtesy.

Coffee great, food good and presented well.
Seems they’re short on staff (?) or changed staff (?) as I’ve been here several times in the past year and have had amazing service and also had poor service more recently.

What a little delightful cafe hidden in Rydalmere. We happen to go there for brunch and decided to try the Bombay Toast with my latte which was a perfect coffee in taste and flavour.
The savoury French toast at Big Tree House is a game-changer! It's so different from anything else I've had and absolutely delicious. Every visit to this cafe is a delightful experience, and I love discovering new favorites on their menu. Give it a try!

I love that they are reusing what would otherwise be trash. The coffee was very nice. I had to repeat my friends order a few times, I feel like I wasn't communicating properly even though I knew I was. However, they seemed lovely.
