I had a very disappointing experience. Their website is full of lies.

First, they advertise that their karts can reach 70 km/h. This is completely false. I had a couple of GPS devices with me—one recorded a top speed of 53 km/h, and the other 55 km/h.

Second, they claim there are '50 karts to choose from.' That’s another lie. While there may be 50 karts in total, you don’t actually get to choose one. The staff assigns a kart to you, so if you think you can pick a newer-looking one, forget about it. In fact, all the karts seem pretty worn out. They look old, dated, and far from their peak condition.

I weigh about 70 kg, and during my first 15-minute session, another racer—easily 30 kg heavier than me—was passing me effortlessly on the straights. I couldn’t even defend myself; everyone in that session had significantly more pace than my sluggish, unresponsive kart. After that first session, I just wanted to go home, but I still had another 15-minute session left on my ticket.

For the second session, I got a more competitive kart and finally had some fun, as I wasn’t just watching everyone fly past me on the straights.

Lastly, there is no modern technology on the track. The place feels outdated, and I will definitely not be returning.

Excellent afternoon with my son at Big Kart at Landsborough. Big track and was fun for beginners like me. Fast enough to give you a bit of a thrill without risking life and limb. Friendly and professional team made sure everything ran smoothly. Big shout out to the lads who found my car keys after they fell from my pocket on the track. If you're up on the Sunny coast for holidays go and take a spin.

Had a fantastic time at the Big Kart Track. The admin and kart teams were professional, friendly, and handled everything with ease. We always make the time to go every time we are on the Sunshine Coast. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable experience!

Fantastic fun. We were a group of 3. Us two guys mid 60s and a 21yo. We had 2 x 15 races and so glad we did. One 15 min race is not enough to get into the swing of things. The place was run well and process was slick from the moment to go up to the deck until you finish racing. You are never in doubt on what the process is or where you are supposed to be. Well done Big Cart Track, you guys are doing a great job.

We had an amazing evening at Big Kart Track! The three of us each drove a go-kart around the track for 15 minutes, and it was an absolute blast. The track is impressively large and well-maintained, offering plenty of twists and turns to keep things exciting. The karts were fast and in great condition, making the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and ensured everything ran smoothly and safely. Overall, it was a fantastic outing and we can't wait to come back!

Is it fun? Certainly is. Good staff and good track, always fun. It's always cool that a lot of karts are on track at the same time. We've been a few times and my son's and I thought the karts felt better this time, as if the engines had been overhauled or re-conditioned since last time, either way they all seemed to perform better than in the past, maybe we were just lucky as generally my son ends up swapping karts due to having a "slow" kart.
Downsides; It's expensive. $90 for 2 x 15 min sessions in my opinion is overpriced, but I guess that's the going rate these days. Wouldn't hurt to maybe introduce a "regular customer" loyalty program?!
The 3rd corner is still uncomfortably rough and needs a serious resurface as it detracts from the enjoyment.

Our family always has so much fun here.
Definitely recommend for a birthday party, even the big kids have so much fun (the adults)
Shoutout to Nick, Thankyou so much, my phone slipped out of my pocket onto the track he was quick on his feet jumped in a kart and off he went in search for my phone, he managed to find it before anyone ran over it, you bloody legend Thankyou again and he refused my tip, so this is for you guys 5star, definitely well worth it, and for all ages young and old you will have a blast!!!
