Room was dated, the reception team was friendly, robe was a nice little touch. I have stayed here previously and the room allocated was a lot nicer than this room. Bed was very soft. Close to everything, parking on the first level is tight. Would be good if the bar opened a little earlier on a friday.

Was given a room that was upstairs which was OK but when we entered the room it had a loft bedroom - up yet another flight of stairs! We are in our early 60s and if we had needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, those stairs would have been an accident waiting to happen!|We asked for a more appropriate room and were given a ground floor room. ||The receptionist was also kind enough to give us a discount, which was unexpected and welcomed.||Also the towels were well past their use by date! They were hard, scratchy and frayed around the edges. If felt like drying yourself with sandpaper!

The customer service was outstanding here, super friendly, fast and didn't get stuffed around. Our room was great but our air-conditioning unit didn't work unfortunately but that is the only negative for me. It's super convenient if you are just passing through and need a bed to sleep in and food to eat.

Stayed here several times and it has been good previously. I stayed in unit 11. Room was small and dinghy. It had poor ventilation. The next room was smoking outside and the smell was coming into the room so I had to block the front door with a towel. Turned the sheets back at 10pm last night and the sheets were dirty (have photos). Couldn’t sleep as the people next door were partying til 11pm. Got life

This was my second stay at this hotel . The first was 3 years ago . That was a very good time so I decided to return for my two night stay . Staff were very attentive and helpful . The room was quiet and clean . I had breakfast and it was much better than a fast food restaurant. I would recommend this hotel and will return on my next visit to Tamworth.

The room was not as nice as pictures.very old and needs updating. Old bathroom with bathtub and shower in bath. The table had dust on the leg base, and the lounge had rubbish under cushions. I was disappointed that the TV was quite small and just freestanding on a bench. There was no access to channels other than free ones, and I was unable to log in because someone else had done so but didn't log out. Overall not very impressed for the price we paid.

I was charged $211.00 for a sub-standard room. The air conditioning didn't work, the hot water tap hardly worked - just a trickle, there was a hole in the roof of the linen cupboard which they had tried to fix with tape, access was via two steep sets of stairs. I think this might have been their emergency room as we had come in late when our flight was cancelled. I am requesting a partial refund as I feel it unfair to charge us the same rate as their top room. It was a terrible experience on top of a very stressful one with the cancellation of our flight. I'd never stay there again and warn all my friends on Facebook.

Our visit to Tamworth was just for a night and the Best Western Tamworth did not let us down. The excellent concierge receptionist who went out of her way to help us. The dinner in the restaurant was superb with a few drinks after dinner by the fire. What a great experience. The room with the loft bed. The bed was great and we had a good nights sleep!
Breakfast was delivered to us, the meals were huge and hot. The barista coffee was soo good and hot!
We couldn’t recommend their place more to anyone who is visiting Tamworth…
We will definitely be back!
