The Motel is very handy to John Hunter Hospital and located in a village with a variety of food and drink outlets.The rooms and ensuites of the Blackbutt Inn were spotless and beds comfortable. Although the accommodation is above the Hotel noise from it or passing traffic did not disturb our sleep. The staff at Best Western Blackbutt Inn were fantastic. Even at a busy time of year requests were no problem. We could not have asked for better service. The Hotel dining experience was excellent with very generous portions. Thank you Karen and staff for your wonderful help!

absolutely amazing service!!! Staff are extremely helpful and kind. Great location for John Hunter along with great options on food and other shops surrounded and a park!!!! All in a 500 meter radius. Beds comfy <3 overall peaceful would recommend

Spent 3 weeks straight here. Great spot, awesome rooms and room service. Staff super friendly and easy to talk too If you have any questions. plus great food and pub below. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to stay in Newcastle

Great value and good location for getting about the Newcastle region without the mega plex maze of huge hotel/motels. Rooms above a pub, sports bar and bistro and the rooms are quiet and secure. Bistro has daily chef specials and regular fare

Exceptional reception staff, Karen was very helpful and is an asset for the hotel. Restaurant was great value, with large meals. Would stay here again. Free transport to McDonald Stadium was an added benefit.
