We went away with 12 friends for a Murder Mystery Weekend and managed to surprise them all by getting married. Berry Hill is a magical place like no other, the property is stunning no matter in which direction you look. We loved it was dog friendly, we didn’t feel cramped with the extra studios and some space inbetween everyone. Honestly between the sauna, river walks, marshmallows on the campfire and board games it was the most relaxing weekend any of us ever had. Communication with Catriona was fantastic and so helpful. It was a dream!

If we could give Berry Hill more stars, we absolutely would!!!! Cat and the team provided us with such a wonderful venue and fantastic service for and throughout our wedding planning and day.

We had such a perfect night and got sooooo many comments on how beautiful the venue was - "how did you find this place!?" was the question of the night!! Even the photographer was amazed at the beauty of Berry Hill!

We stayed an extra night as a family and it was the best decision because after the wedding we got some down time soaking up all the beauty down by the river with our family.

All of our guests who stayed in glamping tents said they were so comfortable and some even mentioned it was the best sleep they’d had in a while! The sheds were fantastic as was the house. We just had the best time having all of our loved ones stay on site.

Cat and the team were so professional and so helpful throughout the process. Their recommended vendors that we went with were all fantastic too.

We are sooo looking forward to booking Berry Hill in the future on Airbnb for a reminiscent family getaway.

I recently held a Women's Retreat at Berry Hill, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue had everything we needed, from fully equiped kitchen and accomodation to beautiful, serene surroundings that provided the ideal backdrop for our retreat. The marquee was perfect for running our yoga classes, art therapy sessions, and women's circles. The room was also easy to transform to meet our needs, which made our activities flow seamlessly.

The participants thoroughly enjoyed their time and couldn't stop admiring the location. A special shout-out to Catriona, who was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Her assistance ensured everything ran smoothly, making our retreat an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Berry Hill for any group event or retreat!

Berry Hill provided the perfect backdrop to what can only be described as our dream wedding day. Cat and the team were great to work with, were accommodating and quick to get back to us with any questions. The venue itself is magnificent! Being able to have our guests on site with us all weekend made the celebrations even more special. Our guests loved the glamping tents, that they could explore the property and enjoy the river while the wedding party was getting ready for the ceremony on the Saturday afternoon. Could not have imagined a better place to get married!

Well well, this was an experience my partner and I were not expecting, from the moment we entered the front gate of Berry Hill we were instantly blown away by the kind and relaxed energy of the venue owner, Cat.

The main house at Berry Hill felt like a trip into the Byron Hinterland with beautiful meaningful touches scattered around us, the smell of incense in the garden, tipi tents dotted across the property and vines creeping all over the home like a hidden oasis on her land.

She sat on the wrap around front porch with a tea in her hand, her gorgeous dog running around us making us smile. Cat showed us through Berry Hill for our wedding venue hunt and she was so informative yet not pushy in the slightest.

If you’re wanting a place to stay with friends, a place for a birthday party or like us a wedding venue I would HIGHLY recommend going to Berry Hill to see why I can't stop thinking about the energy which surrounds this land.

Everything was perfect, a beautiful venue with soul.

Beautiful venue for weddings, get togethers with family and friends or just a relaxing time away from busy life. Sunset is nice. The grounds are wonderful as you can see from the photos.

Everything about this place is absolute magic! We had the most incredible wedding weekend we could have imagined. Our guests loved the glamping tents and we spent hours down by the beach, swimming in the river. Cat & Blair are so friendly and helpful, no matter how many questions we had 🙂 thank you so much for everything! Berry Hill will be in our hearts forever, it was truly special.

I was lucky enough to escape to Berry hill for a few days with friends. I don’t think I’ve stayed in a more magical place. The house is a quintessential homestead with a stunning wrap around veranda. It is perched at the top of the hill looking down over the Hawkesbury river and the stunning escarpments that nestle on the other side of the river. There is such a sense of peace at this property that one could spend hours just sitting in the veranda and taking in the scenery. The river is only a short walk down the hill and there’s a little beach and a swing down there. The house and accommodation are perfect for a cosy stay with beautiful linen bedding and lovely sofas. If I was going to rewind and married again i would do it at Berry Hill. Also great place to bring kids as they can run free.
