It was truly an amazing experience. To have such luxury as well as incredible food and drinks in one of the most remote parts of the world is astonishing. From the moment you land (greeted by Resort managers Hannah and Jake with bubbles) to the moment you leave the staff can't do enough for all the guests. The scenery everywhere is stunning. The tours are incredible, and all the guides are very informative and knowledgeable about the local history. The fishing is incredible, and the helicopter flight is the best ever. The pilot landed in amazing places, and we got to swim in truly remote water holes. We got to see some fantastic waterfalls, incredible Aboriginal rock art, which very few people have experienced or seen. The bush walk is great, and again, we swam in remote lovely waterholes and seen some more rock art. The sunset beach drive was stunning as well, and as usual a lovely sunset, nibbles and fine drinks.| The accommodation and amenities are spotless, amazing outlooks, very comfortable beds and a very interesting outdoor bathroom. The service is impeccable, the food is absolutely amazing and all the staff are the friendliest we have ever come across anywhere in the world.| Sunrise and sunsets are stunning and no matter what tour you are on or back at the lodge you get to see a magnificent sunset with drinks, nibbles and friends.| The landscape in this area is unique and unrivalled in Australia and rivals anything we have seen anywhere in the world.| All the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, fun, informative and above all they love their job.| The degustation dinners and wine matching is beyond compare. The three chefs also engage with the guests which also is memorable.| All the tours run smoothly and co ordination is second to none. The staff bend over backwards to accommodate anyone who would like to alter their scheduled tours and nothing is a problem.| A special thanks to the managers Hannah and Jake who have everything running faultlessly, and have a great happy crew behind them.| A stay at the Berkeley is a must do for anyone who likes the great outdoors, a sense of adventure, great food and drinks, and meeting like minded people. It is worth every cent you pay as there is nothing like it in the world.

Such a unique and stunning part of the world!! An absolutely amazing experience with all activities guided by experienced staff. Good food, drinks, etc… everything was premium! |So many staff members to thank; (Christian, Issy, Dina, Thomas, Rhett, Laura, Roberta, Katerina etc…, etc…apologies for those I did not mention) greeting you with friendly smiles! Nothing was too much trouble! The spa treatments were amazing -very professional! |The helicopter experience was stunning .., thank you Nick (our pilot) for your knowledge of the region and history, and especially with the way you engaged with your passengers! |Hannah and Jake are interested and caring managers and consistently asking how things were going; ensuring everyone is enjoying themselves and being given the best that Berkeley River Lodge has to offer! We had a wonderful time at Berkeley River. The lodge is beautiful and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The activities were great fun and the guides very knowledgeable. The remoteness made it so special.|If degustation is not your thing it becomes a little annoying having it every night but the chefs do an amazing job.

What a fantastic experience!! The lodge, the staff, the food (thanks chef!), AND the daily excursions with fantastic knowledgeable guides. Got to make special mention of Bruce, Laura & heli pilot Nick!!! At times it felt like we were the first white-man to walk on this sacred, unspoilt land. The rock art; the waterfalls; the crocs; the climbs ... and it all started with a 2hr spa treatment on day 1 of our 5 day stay. Can not speak highly enough of BRL ... OMG - take me back!!!!

The Berkeley River Lodge was the ideal location to celebrate my husband's surprise 60th birthday! From start to finish our trip was extraordinary ... made possible by an experienced team who assisted us with every detail and made sure we were kept comfortable and happy! With five-star menus and premium beverages, we enjoyed exceptional cuisine in this remote part of our world. The tours from the lodge were exceptional; fishing, hiking, 4WD along the beach, swimming in rockpools, exploring ancient rock paintings, standing beneath waterfalls, cruising along some of the most spectacular scenery we have ever seen. We are still on cloud nine and will remember this family holiday forever - certainly our best holiday experience in Australia. A big thank you to the staff at Berkeley - we appreciate you making my husband's birthday so special!

A truly amazing experience, to stay in one of the most remote areas in the world, with the most stunning scenery everywhere, and to come home to beautiful bungalow accommodation, a great common area with degustation, wine pairing meals and any other type of drink or food you require. It doesn't get any better than that.
All the staff from managers to housekeeping are the happiest, friendliest most accommodating people you will ever meet. Even the unbelievable Chefs get in on the act and mingle and interact with the guests.
The tours are well co ordinated, they are fun and very interesting with all the guides doing a fantastic job. They are all very knowledgeable about the history of the land, the vegetation, the wildlife and the aboriginal rock art. They also have fun with the guests and make sure everyone has a good time.
The optional helicopter tour is a must. You get to fly over the amazing landscape and get to see some stunning places that are inaccessible, and with a totally different perspective from above. The pilot lands you in unbelievable places and you get to swim in waterholes and see some rock art that very few people have or ever will see.
The sunrises are stunning and sunsets every afternoon whether you are on a tour, landing on a mountain in the chopper or back at the lodges sunset viewpoint are stunning and are all enjoyed with great company, nibbles and drinks.
A stay at the Berkeley River Lodge is a must for anyone with a sense of adventure and a love of the outdoors. The landscape in the area is unique and unrivaled anywhere in Australia and maybe the world. The staff are the happiest most helpful people you will ever meet. all the meals are absolutely beautiful and you won't get any better meals anywhere. All the guest are travelers and are all likeminded so mingling is fun.
