We had a lovely few nights staying at Benambra. Immaculately styled and gloriously comfortable, the property is the perfect hideway for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. What's more, it's perfectly located near the best restaurants and attractions in town. Highly recommend.

Shocked!!! $400 almost for one night and it's basically a sharehouse, but they dont tell you. The owner Belinda came banging on our door on tiny short shorts yelling at us to shut up and it was a bad experience. Next time Belinda just ask guests nicely to not talk so loud instead of attacking them. She also let her dog run through the room and my partner is allergic.

We stayed 3 nights in the Benambra Cottage, it was just perfect for us. |Location can't be beaten, great restaurants close by and the start of the Bellaraine rail trail is about 100m away. We rode from Queenscliff to Geelong for lunch one day. |The cottage is self contained with washing and cooking facilities. The breakfast of local goodies was great. |Would 100% stay here again.

I wanted to like this place and the actual accommodation was lovely. However the host was a horrible lady. We were talking and instead of maybe a nice text to tell us she could hear us, she came in dressed inappropriately and abused us and let her dog run through the room. Very bad experience

Absolutely fantastic stay! Rooms are clean and so well looked after. The room we stayed is called the Rose room and it’s cozy, modern and beautiful. Artfully decorated. Location is great, cafes and shops down the road. We get to go down to the ocean and had a walk along the water and the boat house. Our host Bee is super lovely and accomodating. Definitely will come back and stay here again. It’s been a fantastic experience.

Benambra was everything we dreamt of and more for our holiday in queenscliffe. We were lucky enough to have the cottage for our holiday, and it was absolutely fantastic. From comfortable beds with high quality linen, a fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom with amazing shower, it really is perfect. The Benambra building is rich in history and the owners have done a great job of showcasing its heritage, whilst being comfortable with modern luxuries.The location is second to none, a short walk into town with various restaurants and cafes or to the beach and pier. I have recommended Benambra to everyone and cannot wait to come back!

We stayed in Benambra last week. Its a beautiful 1880s residence being refurbished by new owners so dont take any noticeb of old reviews. Attention to detail in every aspect. Beautifully decorated rooms, personal addressed arrival letter, hamper in your room full of goodies, fridge with fruit jiuce, sparkling mineral water & yogurt, fluffy towels, great bed with crisp linen & a great host. Location couldn't be better - right on the main street of Queenscliff but at the quiet end. Close to all tourist destinations such as the ferry to Sorrento. Great eating on the Queenscliff warf. Husband has walking stick & had no problems getting into & around the house. High tech for power, tv etc Loved our getaway. Tatiana Carlton Nth.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and we enjoyed it. Recently spruced up and it's done very tastefully with all creature comforts. Very nice touch of the owners to provide a welcome basket for breakfast the next day and the AC was turned on when it was sweltering outside. Everything in the room was great and to a high standard - decor, towels, bed and toiletries. Balcony was nice and looked out into the street. Can't fault the location and the food next door at Shelter Shed was fabulous.
