Nice historic site with good information on the event and Ben Hall. Apart from the signs, it's just a paddock with some sheep and trees really but rather poignant especially if you are there on your own. It's about half way along Ben Hall road which is a lovely dirt road drive.

Not all that bad site really, has some information boards. But feels like your tresspassing on a farmers paddock.. i wouldnt bother the trip down here unless you have a specific reason too. Its all dirt roads so expect a dusty or muddy car afterwards!

A must-stop on the road tour of bushranger Ben Hall. The site of his controversial killing by police in 1865.
It is on a good quality dirt road between Forbes and Bogan Gate. Please note, that the Google Maps pin is not in the correct place - it is about 750 metres north of the right point. The Google Maps pin is at the site of a road to a private property. Further north you will see a grey gate on the east side of the road. A short 100 metre walk to the clump of trees.
