Stayed in Ivy Cottage for four nights and couldn’t fault it. We had a fabulous stay in this quirky cottage. The hosts are excellent and it’s a quiet location with everything you need, even breakfast provisions provided. I highly recommend it. You even get to feed the pony!

What a fantastic place to stay! We stayed in the Ivy cottage with our 2 young boys, and it was idyllic. The beautiful cottage is so lovingly restored and everything is furnished with gorgeous period furnishings to make you feel like you were visiting your great grandmother. The house is clean and dust free, and the fridge is generously stocked with bacon and farm fresh eggs for breakfast, toast, juice, milk - there is cereal in the cupboard, and a tipple of port on the table for after dinner.
The kids were greeted by their friendly ponies who trotted over to the yard (separated by a fence) for a pat, and we saw the kangaroos grazing at dawn.
We will be back!

We stayed in Ivy Cottage for a couple of days. It's absolutely beautiful - completely tastefully furnished in keeping with this little 100 year old house. There's everything you need ;- plus more. Lovely bedroom; bathroom (including claw-foot bath); kitchen (including a fabulous stove) - also a marvellous view out into the countryside, complete with kangaroos grazing and a really comfortable sitting room. Wonderful fresh ingredients are left for you to cook breakfast - and Lorraine spoils you with some home-made sweet goodies, as well. You feel like you never want to leave.

If it's privacy and relaxation you want then this is the place for you. Tom and Lorraine will greet you with a smile then leave you to enjoy your stay in their fully self contained freestanding cottages. You'll find enough food in the fridge to feed an army, and even some lovely fresh home baking. The cottages are charmingly decorated in country style antiques and old wares and everything you can think of has been supplied. You will, however, need to bring your own shampoo. There is even a lovely BBQ area overlooking the paddocks where kangaroos and horses graze. |Sunrise and sunset are particularly special here.|Take the time to spoil yourself.

We loved this place! So peaceful and relaxing. We stayed with our two daughters, aged 1&5yrs. They loved feeding the ponies and watching the Roos in the paddock adjacent to the cottage. So superior to a motel and nice to have so much space for just a night. The breakfast options left for us are generous and would suit almost anyone's taste.

Had a wonderful comfortable stay. A step back in history with sweet details present in every room. ||Lorraine was a lovely host. Loved the homemade treats. And beautiful breakfast supplies. Many extras not ever seen in normal Grafton accommodation. Thick fluffy towels. Warm crocheted rugs. ||Friendly helpful hosts. And their pets are interested in the guests too!||Thank you we appreciated and admired the cottage. We look forward to return soon!||Ex Grafton family.|

We always try and stay at either the Cottage or the Dairy when we visit Grafton. |Lorraine has set the houses up with everything you could need including a very generous breakfast. |The beds are so comfy. The decor is gorgeous and the setting is so peaceful. |I will always come back and definitely recommend travelers to stay here.

When needing accommodation in Grafton this cottage we stayed in surprised us with its fastidious cleanliness, excellent breakfast supplies and so many extras you don't normally find elsewhere.||Full size bathroom with somewhere to put toiletries. ||Good for stays up to a week or more and located on a road just bipassing Graftons main centre. Excellent if wanting to simply drive along the Pacific Highway avoiding the mess in Grafton. The property owners deserve congratulations on such thoughtful work. We stayed in Ivy Cottage.
