I stayed at the camping place for about 2 nights. The camping has a nice location and everything you need.
I just want to make the new visitors beware that there lays a DEAD ANIMAL above the grate from the WATER TANK next to the women and men toilets on the site where you can wash and dry your clothes. You could already see the bones of the animal.
It has been there for some time. That’s kind of disgusting. And to be honest, I don’t know if they really clean it up. I already told the reception. He told me that they don’t use the water, but I’m not really sure about that.

Our experience was always friendly, faultless, smooth flowing with staff going out of their way on checkin. The amenities, camp kitchen & grounds were always kept clean & tidy. We’ve decided to return sometime to stay longer & relax & explore more of this stunning area. Certainly would highly recommend to anyone.

A caravan park at a stunning location, very clean and quiet, with the most lovely and supportive staff. We enjoyed our stay at Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park to the fullest, especially the beautiful sunset at the lake. Fortunately, a fisherman cleaned his catch at the lakeside what attracted a bunch of pelicans...

Nice location, but thats where it stops. Amenities during our stay were not cleaned really well, corners and anywhere that might have to stretch were not cleaned. Bench tops in amenities were old and needed replacing, e- scooters flew around, even though it says e- scooters not allowed, our site was never mowed or whipper snipped the whole time we were there. Thank the semi permanents, for mowing and whipping snipping ,as grass was long. Dog breeds should be checked, as there were dogs on the list that should not of been allowed, in there and almost got our little dog. Doesnt take much to quickly check the dogs at bookin time as alot of parks do now when you travel OZ.

Good: Stunning location, peaceful park and close to cafe/shops.||||That’s where the good points end unfortunately.||||Terrible: If I could give 0 stars to the husband and wife ‘managers’, I would. Incredibly rude (especially the husband) and incompetent.||||We had 2 sites (10 & 11 - powered tent sites) which firstly, are terribly zoned - they’re triangled behind other sites and you can’t access them without crossing neighbouring sites, which makes unloading/packing inconvenient and disruptive to others.||||We had 3 cars total for the 2 sites, which clearly caused extreme confusion for the managers. They gave a gate code at check-in for 1st car and lifted boom-gate for 2nd car (which both arrived together) and later gave a code to 3rd car to enter. They first phoned us at 6pm saying to “get the car out” as we were only allowed 1 car per site (2 cars). We apologised and immediately moved 1 car outside the grounds, and then at 8pm got another phone call asking if we had “moved the car”, which we said we had.||||At 10pm we were sitting quietly under our gazebo playing cards, when the male manager stomped up out of the darkness and said “ya’s have been asked again and again and ya’s are just rorting the system, how many times do ya need to be told to get the car out?” - which we were dumbfounded by the question and blatant rudeness - particularly in front of our worried 2 year old child who was sitting on my knee. We said we had moved a car outside the gates at 6pm and didn’t know what he was talking about - he said something about gate codes being per car not per site and that we shouldn’t have used the code to get the other car out because now the system doesn’t know that a car is in that it thinks is out? we eventually worked out that all his confusion was caused by our honest mistake of not moving the 2nd car from the grass to our allotted space (an apparent complete ‘rort’), and by saying we had moved the car when asked at 8pm (because the incompetent management didn’t specify which car), he was completely hostile and treated us like liars. We offered to fix the problem (at the time still not understanding what he was talking about) and he said “well it’s too late now, you were asked at 6pm and again at 8pm” and then he just walked off waving his hands dismissing us, again saying “what a rort” as he walked away.||||In the morning we went to the office and spoke with the female manager to clarify what the problem was after the rude confrontation from the male manager, she scoffed and said he’s her husband and then proceeded to talk in circles about how you can’t have too many cars etc, which again - we said we didn’t because we moved one out when asked. ||||I said their concern seemed to be that one car was on the grass and not in the allotted space, which we would have easily fixed if we were told clearly (not to mention politely) at the time. She again reiterated about the (irrelevant) number of cars etc until it was obvious she wasn’t getting the point, and then she said “anyway let’s just forget it now” — no apology for the confusion, hostility or blatant rudeness that we were subjected to as paying guests — on our first ever night camping with our 2 and 4 year old children, which was wrecked for us after the 10pm ‘lecture’, by the way.||||Absolutely disgraceful attitudes and abysmal problem-solving/customer service ‘skills’ to match. Unfortunately thanks to these two clowns we definitely won’t be back. ||||If that’s the nightmare they create over their own terrible directions regarding a car space, good luck if you have a real problem and have to deal with them.

The website is very deceiving! We were passing through with our small dog & needed somewhere to stay for the night. The website DOESN'T state anywhere that it's a 2 night minimum for pet friendly cabins. We were throughly disappointed as we needed somewhere to stay on our long journey.
What a shame!

Since the new owners took over the park has just gone up and up we come here once a year and will continue to come besides the AMAZING views we get the staff of Lisa and her crew are just simply the best im not 100% confident in reversing the van but the grounds crew are more than happy to help you in any way and being a dog friendly park is just the best as our 3 fur baby's came with us this time and just had the best time especially with blacksmiths beach being close by to let them off leash and have fun in the surf
