We had a wonderful experience at the Belmont Hotel on a busy Wednesday night for their 2-for-1 dinner special. Despite the crowd, the staff were incredibly well-prepared and everything ran smoothly.

The meals came out quickly and were absolutely delicious – great portion sizes and full of flavour. What really stood out, though, was the service. One of the staff members took the time to check in with every table to make sure everything was perfect and even offered to take a family photo for us, which was such a thoughtful touch.

It’s not easy to deliver that level of service when the place is packed, but the team at Belmont Hotel did it with a smile. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back

Great customer service by Ryan & the team in the restaurant, food was served quick.

The rooms are clean & newly renovated which was nice & we decided to stay an extra night in a great price 🙂
Only downfall is the bathroom & shower door faces the wrong way as it’s hard to get in & out. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Recently renovated and great to stay at. Some noise when other guests close their doors and the bathroom layout with the door that opened inward is questionable as it’s hard to get around it to get to the loo.

Food was great from the pub downstairs and the staff were very friendly. Overall would recommend.

Recently visited Belmont hotel for dinner. It is pub menu but elevated variety and presentation. Gives a good bang for the buck.
We also made an acquaintance with the head chef, Lucky, quite a passionate young chap!

We had ordered steak sandwich, chicken sliders, soft shell crab salad, salmon and pana cotta. All items were 10/10! Highly recommend!!

We don’t go out often anymore because of the price of things theses days. We got two steak specials seasoning was very good but pepper gravy wasn’t very nice, we asked for med rare which was rare and rare which was blu. So we weren’t not happy about the steaks and the size.

Avoid the pizzas.
Came here with my family. We were all keen to try the pizzas since they had some nice sounding options. I had been craving pizza for a good month and was really looking forward to it. I had the “plant powered pizza” and it was possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Vegan cheese tasted like chemical rubbish, it was burnt on the bottom, extremely oily and far too salty. It was sickening. I still had a few pieces because I was hungry but couldn’t eat anymore than that. I didn’t take the rest home. If it was a good pizza, I would’ve easily eaten the whole thing. Everyone else didn’t enjoy theirs either and they all felt yuck in the stomach afterwards.
Very disappointing.

I'm baffled by any negative reviews about the food.

My partner and I have lived in every state in Australia and been to many, many, MANY pubs. The food here is by far the best. The pizzas are comparable to what we ate in Naples and Capri.

I don't know what the hotels are like but the food and service is beyond excellence. It's a rare delight.

If anything changes, I'll update this review and let the public know otherwise. However... Please at the very least, give Belmont Hotel a try!

I came here on new years day for a quick pub meal. I haven't been here for a long time. I'm so pleased that this place has improved.
I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations and the friendliness and competence of the staff.
My meal was delicious, timely and great value for money. I had the salmon.
There's a good selection of beers and meals. I'm happy to learn they also have live music here, always an enticement for me.
I'm looking forward to bringing family and friends here for a meal and a few drinks.
I'll definitely be back. 10/10.
