The drinks were beautiful amazing and cold. I have been twice and the amount of flavours overwhelms me. There are many options and the aesthetics are perfect. The waiters are fast and kind, and know what they're doing. Overall perfect.

Great place to take the family. Very clean . Affordable food and drinks. The museum takes you back to the 60’s / 70’s. Well presented. A must to visit if you visit Broken Hill.

Looked and felt like a 1950’s American milk bar, all our shakes were great, food good, the place was busy as and resulted in a wait. But all good things come to those that wait. The big sign on the barrier highway is what made me have a look, without that sign I would not have known about this lovely place.

What a gem of a place, I really enjoyed it. Big lover of milkshakes, so this place is my jam. Banana milkshake and the classic hotdog. Service and atmosphere was fantastic. Bought some take away syrups.
Maybe I could suggest a milkshake sampler tray be added to the menu, would be great to taste 6 or so flavours in small serve.
Keep up the great work.
Museum is brilliant.

I don't even know where to start. I've heard so much about this place, so I couldn't pass through Broken Hill without stopping in here.

Walking through the doors is like a step back in time. I immediately felt like I was in the 1960s. The radio was even playing 1960s versions of modern day songs.

There were so many flavours of Shakes to choose from. I went with Butterscotch - it was absolutely beautiful. It was even served in an old style metal cup.

The service was excellent, very friendly and very welcoming.

If you're passing through Broken Hill, make the effort to stop here. You won't regret it.

Keep up the good work!!!!

It's a great spot, and not just for the milkshakes !
We also enjoyed good, thick cut chips, doused with just the right amount of chicken salt. The tasty gravy on the side was a bonus.
And don't forget to have a look out the back at the mini museum for a snapshot of a 50s house.

Lovely Cafe. Not enough food choices for me from memories of my younger milkbar days. The milkshake was sickly sweet. The museum of retro kitchen was great.
