We’ve stayed here before, downstairs in the 1 bedroom flat. This time we rented upstairs and had the 2 bedrooms, more light and the visiting lorikeets who expect their feeding times to be respected. Beds are comfortable and there’s a lot of space. It is in need of an upgrade as it’s very much a rental property so lacks the homely feel. ||It’s a few minutes by car to the centre of town, which is the attraction of Bellingen. And the garden is very beautiful

We stayed here for 1 night only and loved it.||We stayed in the top part of the house, 2 couples. We both had our own ensuites which was great, with one also having a spa bath.||The outside pool is lovely, had a very relaxing swim here. Nice view from the balcony over the pool area and surrounding mountains and gardens.||This has everything you need, full kitchen, dining area and living area. Tv's in living area and both bedrooms and air conditioner in both bedrooms, which we needed.||House was spotless and no complaints.||Only problem is too far to walk to town but if you have a car no problem. Driveway is also a bit steep but house is connected to garage so you just need to get in there.

Yes, the location is great, quiet area and suits a large group as we occupied the whole house. Comfortable bedrooms all with en suites which was an added plus.||However, as other travelers have mentioned the place does need some attention to get it up to par. Very old furniture, some of which needs replacing. A lot of maintenance issues to be attended to - especially in the kitchen area.We enjoyed the fire as it was cold during our stay.

We had a lovely week in Bellingen & surrounds. Beautiful location & lookout. Decor was a bit dated and the kitchen appliances are in need of an upgrade. If you were downstairs it was very noisy when people were upstairs walking & talking. Generally the house was very pleasant with plenty of room for the 7 of us.|

Good location, views. House fittings and furniture tired. The house desperately needs a high clean, old dusty carpets, dirt hanging off ceiling fans, curtain tracks, exhaust fans kitchen and bathrooms. Mould in shower cornices. Oven for cooking wouldn't get hot enough to cook rack lamb and needed to alternate putting the griller on. Some vertical blinds missing on a window. Unsure how clean air conditioners were- didn't use. ||Spoilt our time here

Like the previous writer, the layout of the house is great. We were 2 couples staying for a couple of nights, great views, maybe chop some of the palm trees down to further inhance the view, they are not natives. ||We were very disappointed also in the cleanliness of the house, dust hanging off the fans, tables and bedside tables. The slow combustion fire had not been cleaned, lounges were ripped in places and need replacing. The outside verandah was filthy, a broken chair and NO bar b Q, how easy would it be to have a Weber q there. Walk to town is just about impossible with the unstable roads and no lighting at night.||There was also no hand towels in the bathroom. Bathrooms could also be upgraded ||The kitchen is in need of a total upgrade, pantry door does not open and the cupboard under the sink is disintegrating. What is with the bits of board covering up what were cupboards! And 30 year+ Old hotplates||No LARGE flat screen TV in the lounge as advertised on the website. ||You could also put some advertising for the for the Cedar Bar and Kitchen, we had a fantastic meal there and the owner and staff were terrific.

The parking is down a very steep lane. So steep that I actually had to get out of the car and let my husband do the driving because it was scary. We stayed in the downstairs apartment. The bath is very outdated and is in need of a renovation. There wasn´t any other place to stay nearby so it´s good that this is here as an option.
