Plenty of parking, with a couple of trees for shade. Several different areas to eat. Nice looking bush pub. Staff friendly enough, little nook honouring the Anzacs, half a dozen fish tanks to look at near the entrance. Food was good, salad yummy, reasonable wait time ... but servings weren't the sizing we'd expect for the pricing and the category. We'd likely visit again if in the area, but doubt we'd make a special trip.

Husband, myself and our 2 furkids were welcomed like old friends, one of the best pubs we have been to in ages. The owners and staff were really great.

I had pepperoni pizza - PERFECT - and I am really fussy. Husband had works burger “very satisfying”.
Going back for Sunday night roast.
Prices are reasonable.

Once we buy our Campervan we will be heading back.

Visited this hotel today for lunch, with a small group of seniors.. All I can say is 'Excellent'. The venue has a great country charm. The menu has a great selection. The prices excellent.. The service 'Outstanding', very friendly staff who serve your order with a smile. The wait time for our meals was great and the meals were served hot and very yummy..So If you are looking to go for a meal in the country setting, all I can say is, it's worth the drive. Lots of historical sites in this area. A big thumbs 👍 up. We will be back in a couple of weeks and bring out another group..

My chicken schnitzel was great. Salad was fresh. But the fries need to be cooked longer as they were distasteful.
Garlic Bread is parsley bread. It's not very nice.
Kids meals are massive to.

We dined at 12:00 on a Sunday.
There we a few people there, in the bars and outside, and a raffle was going on!
We were seated immediately and selected a table on the verandah. It was comfortable and had a pleasant view.
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The decor was quintessential country pub and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail themed and references were appropriate without being over done.
The menu was broad and tempting, with many pub staples on offer.
I had a steak sandwich that was tasty and difficult to finish due to its generous size. My beautiful wife had barramundi fillets and they were also excellent. She also did not finish her meal. They were priced well and arrived with impressive speed.
There were many great beer options on tap and the wines on offer were also good.
We really enjoyed this visit and will return.

Always a great pub. HUGE delicious meals, dine in or takeaway. And the best thing is no big queues, cause it's not in the city, except on weekends when the city comes to Coominya

What a fantastic little find. The Scotch Fillet was cooked perfectly and the regulars there were really friendly. There is a river trail where groups were travelling by horse and buggy.
