I was greeted by staff with a reception that was colder than an eskimos lounge room! Everything we asked for regarding our food was like pulling teeth The coffee was absolute rubbish! And the food was well below par! Definitely would not come back, unless I needed to feel like a second class citizen, that wanted a bad coffee and a cold reception.

We've been loyal customers for years, visiting almost weekly. We have recommended Bella to friends and family. However since the ownership has changed everything has slowly been going downhill. For a reference point, I always order the Eggs Benedict with Bacon & Coffee.

First, the atmosphere changed drastically. They have a full time dishwasher guy making noise clattering cups and cutlery literally non-stop. Either they need another dish washing machine or they need to clean dishes faster. That, along with the music at a just-higher-than-comfortable level means we no longer sit inside at all. The food was still great and the same so we kept going.

After a while the service began to drop. We'd wait 10-15 minutes before being attended to on the tables outside. ( And you can still hear the constant clattering of the dish washing guy) However the coffee and food was still great, so we kept going. I'd noticed the portion sizes had decreased a little however there was still more than enough food.

The last time we went, the little changes have piled up:

- I had to go inside and order the food myself, however others outside were being catered to.
- The dish washing guy is clattering away, not fun when you want a relaxing breakfast.
- The portion sizes were small, and the presentation was sloppy. Usually there is plenty of sauce and garnish, etc. ( We are talking over $50 for breakfast here, and the presentation in the past was good. )
- The muffin was burnt, the bacon was under cooked, there was practically no sauce (spreading it around the meal was barely a taste )
- They didn't ask me how my meal was even though I'm sure when I paid my face was obviously unhappy.
- Coffee was still ok.

Happy to adjust / remove my review if I get contact from any of the management. Until then, you've lost us as customers for now 🙁 .

My wife and I had just had a bad nights rest and wanted some breakfast. Stumbled upon this little Cafe in an alleyway and decided to try there food. Wow weren't we pleasantly surprised. The eggs Benedict was to die for. I washed mine down with a pineapple juice ❤ and my wife had a turmeric chi tea which she was raving about.
Yeh...... I rate it 🤏🥰❤💯

Found this popular cafe in the arcade and am so happy. Definitely our go to place from now on. Savoury mince on toast delicious as is the avocado and fetta on toast with poached eggs. Friendly staff delicious food and excellent service. Reasonable prices and well worth the visit.

I had the breakfast bowl husband had big breaky. Delicious fresh and well presented. More than enough on each plate. Coffee was great. Service was polite, friendly and efficient. Definatley recommend and will be back to try more

The food is yum, great choices with enough variety without so much that it takes forever to choose. There was 7 of us, and we had the Bella vege bowsl, smashed avo, corn fritters and a simple eggs on toast. All were very tasty.

The servings are large, so go hungry, and you get service with a smile.

Also coffees are smooth and even my non-coffee drinking son liked the coffees this morning

Highly recommend it.

It's our go to place for breakfast at Warners Bay, but please don't tell too many people 🙂

A good little cafe hidden in the laneway, they serve average to good coffee consistently.

They have a decent sized menu with some great options and the vegetarian breaky is worth a try.

All food & drinks are reasonable priced.
The service is good for being busy most of the time.

Although they're are plenty of other cafes in the area, you should visit this one at least once.

Current owners get a one star. Very rude staff, coffee is aweful.
