A great find in Belgrave! Perfect location -- convenient to all the shops and trails in the Dandenong Ranges National Park -- cute and comfortable room with a cosy fireplace. Dianne was very helpful and catered for our plant-based diet, providing everything we needed for a cooked breakfast in the morning.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in early March 2025.

The room had good space and was comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The place was neat and clean and the appliances worked as expected. There was no wardrobe to hang clothes, but a coat/hat stand to hang things on if necessary. There was also a drawer available in a cabinet and a drawer in each of the two bedside tables to store clothing and other items. The hot water delivery was variable, with temperature fluctuating on one day, but perfectly fine and consistent the next.

It’s an older building, in good condition, set in lovely grounds. Given the older building there were not accessible power points beside the bed to charge devices.

There is a DVD player and DVDs in the cabinet under the TV. Don’t let the apparent keyhole fool you, turn the handle clockwise to unlatch.

If you are out after dark there is an outside light you can leave on. You’ll find the switch just inside near the top right hand side of the door frame.

A generous breakfast was included, together with a range of snacks.

The hosts were communicative and helpful.

Location is good, with restaurants, cafes and shopping only a few minutes walk away. It is also well placed for the Puffing Billy.

There was no wifi, but the phone signal was strong.

Off street parking was available. It is outdoors and unsecured, but well away from the street.

Your GPS may currently take you to the wrong place in getting here, depending upon whether you ask for directions to ‘Belgrave Bed and Breakfast’ or 11 Monbulk Road Belgrave. Apple Maps will get
you to the driveway entrance if you seek directions to the street address, but take you to a spot on nearby Ena Road if you seek directions to the ‘Belgrave Bed and Breakfast’.
Google and Waze work the opposite way around - for the driveway entry the plus code for Google is 39R4+X56 Belgrave, Victoria, and the latitude and longitude coordinates are -37.9075774, 145.3554005. Summary - if you are using Google or Waze, seek directions to ‘Belgrave Bed and Breakfast’, and if you are using Apple Maps, seek directions to the street address.

We had a wonderful time at the Belgrave B&B. Thanks to Diane who helped beforehand and made sure everything was ready for our arrival. Very clear arrival instructions were given.

The make your own breakfast that was provided went above and beyond what we would have ever expected. It included smoked salmon, sausages, veggies eggs and more!

The location is incredibly convenient and we were able to walk into town in just minutes.

Very beautiful and cozy place, the room is very tastefully and delicately decorated!! The rooms are build and decorated old style, but still have modern amenities without disturbing the vintage feel. The little things that the hosts took care of, really made a difference.. like the lovely breakfast tray with so many things, which was really generous, then there were little chocolate pieces kept on bedside tables, all these things made a difference, made us feel really welcome and it showed that the hosts cared. It was all very clean and tidy. There was spa bath, which was nice again.
About the location, it is super close to the Puffing Billy station and Belgrave station, not more than 5-7 minutes walking.
All in all, a lovely experience, will definitely go again when I'm in Victoria.

What a great way to spend our wedding anniversary, Steam & Cuisine on the Puffing Billy & staying overnight at Belgrave B & B. Very clean, comfortable bed & pillow and a great assortment of food for breakfast. Just a short walk to Puffing Billy, shops & cafes. We had the Cedar Room & found it very peaceful as the B & B is set back amongst lovely gardens from the main road. It's the personal touches that Diane does that makes you feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

Bummer B ‘n B!|On entering you’re overwhelmed by unpleasant smell like old toilets with a strong musky odour. We happily opened the door as the window was already opened. No improvement for two night visit.|Worn out linen on old bed which isnt the one in pictures . |Misrepresenting offering as a bed and breakfast (with b n b pricing) given they provide bread etc to do it yourself and clean up without a dishwasher.|In room amenities terrible to the point of it bring funny if we hadn’t paid $500. for this! Analogue TV. A small selection of old DVDs. Not cult movies, just old. No wardrobe. Outdoor table not in a garden property etc but rather cramped up in a dark squashed spot at gate and stairs. |Capped off with noisy traffic on Saturday evening.|Wow is this for real? |Location good but better advertised as 2 star motel for much less.

Diane is a wonderful hostess, making sure that her guests are very welcome and cared for. Loved my room, very comfy, would love to go back. Puffing Billy is basically just across the road.
