A wonderful place to stay.
Lovely, large apartment, well furnished, with a comfortable bed, spa bath and a mountain view from the balcony.
Mario proved to be a fantastic host in addition to the included underground parking and convenient position near the city centre.
I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this venue, all at very reasonable pricing.

Stayed for 2 nights, Mario was super friendly and room was spacious and clean. Great location walking distance to bars restaurants / beaches and secure parking too.
Plenty of choices and short walk to Keira St for food/drinks.
Will stay again.

Room was nice and clean.

Owner Mario was rude, condescending and lied to gain access into my room.

Lies included “having someone over I shouldn’t have” - to which I said check the camera and he immediately changed the subject.

“Checking the smoke alarm” - I gave him access to my room and he walked through without checking the alarm and said the “owner” instructed him to do so.

In conclusion, the rooms are nice, location is nice, however Mario is extremely rude and intrusive, my stay ended up being very uncomfortable and not to mention the constant footsteps heard coming from the upper floors.

If you want peace and quiet, look elsewhere as this is not the place to rest.

BE WARY OF THIS PLACE.

Nice size rooms
Nice Size bathroom
Horrible mattress
And the rooms are not Sound proof.

1st morning was woken the sound of the guy in the next room taking a leak.
Then he coughed for the next 30mins
Dragged chairs around.

And we were told upon checking, that we had the quite room.

Nothing quite about it...

The service and pricing couldn’t be matched. Room was really big and immaculately clean. Just a few minute walk from the beach, several restaurants, bus stops, and a convenience store. Couldn’t recommend Bel Mondo enough!

Bel Mondo is a hidden gem, beautifully presented and tucked away from traffic.
The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious for the price.
Mario meet us at the front driveway and guided us into the secure of Street parking. He is one of those old school Gentlemen that are simply too far and few these days, he walked us to our room and made sure that we are settled and happy.
Nothing was to much trouble for Mario. His apartments are the best value for money that I have experienced. When we next visit Wollongong (which is a couple of times a year) we will definitely be staying at Bel Mondo!

I am just back home from a very pleasant stay with my sister and baby niece in the Bel Mondo apartments!! There is a well equipped kitchenette! We cooked both nights! The room had two beds and a spacious bathroom! There is good heating! The room was very quiet! We didn’t hear a thing! Mario was very helpful! The apartment is only about 10 minutes from the beach and not too far from the town centre!

Stayed for two nights while moving my son to the local Uni. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, even offered to help me unpack the car!|Underground secure parking was great, apartment was spotlessly clean with everything you require. Bed very comfy. No noise from the road or other guests.I will certainly be staying here again when I next come to visit.
