Basic, clean & with accommodating managers we enjoyed a few days here. Although on Nebo Rd, it wasn't noisy- our unit was toward the back. Pool was clean & cool. Parking is ample. On the downside it was going to cost an extra $10 p/d for a single bed to be made up & the air conditioner was a bit noisy. Some tissues & a bin in the bathroom would have been appreciated.

Stayed overnight. Owner was very welcoming and the homemade biscuits on arrival were a nice touch. Rooms were as advertised - comfortable, affordable (great value for money!) and spotlessly clean. Also, the motel is nice and close to Main Street, Mackay and large shopping centre. Would stay again.

Great place, real family friendly service, with real milk and home made cookies on arrival.
Rooms are clean and well appointed although they are of an older style, they have been maintain meticulously, a credit to Sandra and Ron your hosts with the most.
In room breakfast served like the good old days, so nice and very well priced.
I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We travelled to Mackay for our Grand-Daughters birthday and wanted somewhere to stay that didn't break the bank. Really it was only somewhere to sleep. We found a great price for the Bel Air. It's an older motel but very clean and the bed was so comfy. The Managers were very friendly. Given it's on the highway we expected a little noise and were pleasantly surprised to find the noise was minimal! Will defiantly stay again.

A lovely little motel and welcoming host. Room was very clean and roomy, and bed very comfy. Situated on a busy road we heard NO traffic and found it to be very quiet. Great parking right outside the rooms. Definitely recommended for value.

Great budget motel. Crisp sheets and comfortable bed. We need even had thick quality towels. The home made biscuits are a nice family touch and there was room to park our trailer.
