Fabulous! Visited twice during my weekend in Liverpool. Lovely ambience, helpful, friendly, relaxed service. Flexible on food choices. Delicious. I loved the Kurdish tea.

If you are visiting Liverpool and fancy some porridge for breakfast, then you absolutely have to go to Bekas Café, on London road. I have to come to Liverpool to visit my mum every few weeks, so I like to try different cafes for breakfast, and porridge is my favourite in the morning. Now I can whole heartedly say that the porridge with frozen fruits and honey is the best I have ever been presented with in any cafe I have visited. It looks so pretty , and tastes amazing. And it's great value for money. After seeing people eating the vegetarian Kurdish breakfast, I wish my appetite was bigger, as it too, looks amazing. All round, Bekas Café is a fabulous place to eat excellent food, and the staff are wonderful.

Exceptionally good. A welcome respite and oasis from the fast food anathema nearby.
The Kurdish breakfast is a delight I can highly recommend. Lots of other options, many reflecting the proprietor’s heritage.
The ladies at the counter are lovely and have a demeanour rarely found in cafes and restaurants these days.

Do visit, you’ll not be disappointed.

Went here cycling, no bike park nearby so had to park a bit far. Lovely interior design, comfy chairs to sit. Various kind of food and desserts with nice presentation. Price decent with the portion.

Really nice cafe!! First time enjoying a Kurdish breakfast and coffee and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The care and kindness of the owner whilst presenting the menu was really great, and her attention to details preparing the breakfast & coffees was second to none. Also very nice design of the cafe with comfortable & beautiful chairs and very good cleaning standards. We will be back!

This was nice to find a local non-chain place with nice food and coffee - a mix of Kurdish and British options. The staff didn’t seem pleased to see anyone and didn’t say much though. The atmosphere was fine. Although the disco-flashing security cameras were a bit bright for early in the morning.
