Bean Sisters Cafe is such a hidden gem in the heart of Sydney CBD! The fusion menu is creative and packed with flavour. I tried the prawn pasta, which had perfectly cooked king prawns and a delicious sweet chilli garlic sauce – absolutely addictive. The chicken karaage was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and paired so well with the mayo.

The highlight for me was the bingsu – both the mango cheese pie and Milo versions were incredible. The mango was fresh and paired beautifully with the soft cheese pie, while the Milo bingsu took me straight back to childhood with Oreos, Milo, and cornflakes.

The ambiance is cozy and aesthetic, service was friendly, and presentation was on point. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good vibes and delicious Asian fusion food with a twist!

Charming little café tucked away on Pitt Street next to World Square. The decor stands out with a unique steampunk vibe; think exposed pipes and quirky details that give the place a lot of character.

The food and drinks were genuinely enjoyable. The Oreo frappe was perfectly balanced; sweet but not overly rich; while the hibiscus tea was refreshing, though it could’ve used just a touch more sweetness. I had the bacon, eggs, and toast dish; while the portion seemed modest on the ordering app, we were pleasantly surprised by how generous it was when it arrived. It was flavourful and satisfying. My partner opted for the bacon and egg roll, which turned out to be more like a hearty bacon and egg burger.

Overall, a lovely little spot with a well-rounded menu. While they seem especially popular for their bingsu, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the cozy atmosphere.

Such a cute and aesthetic spot tucked away on Pitt Street! Perfect for hanging out with friends or even just a quick coffee break. The portions here are massive, we had the Trevi Fountain, tacos, burger and churros, and honestly, everything was surprisingly so good! Great vibe, generous servings, and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Absolutely love the decor and vibe here, not to mention their delicious food! I love their fusion menu and they are always coming up with new and innovative dishes. The staff were also super friendly and helpful and assisted me with my ordering process, they took time to describe each dish and allowed me to alter the spice level of the noodle dish. One staff member also came to double check when I would like the dessert which I appreciated 👏 Would definitely return for brunch or late night meal!

Recommendations:

- Tom Yum Pizza 🍕 - Great portion size with a generous portion of large juicy prawns on each slice alongside mushrooms, mozzarella and tomato paste with a hint of tom yum flavour!

- Squid Ink Seafood Pasta 🐙- Delicious salted pasta with a hint of spice, alongside marinara seafood mix and green beans.

- Spicy Stir-fry Korean Noodles 🍜 with Seafood - The noodles were seasoned perfectly and exceeded my expectations! Paired perfectly with the stir fried seafood!

- Rock melon 🍈 Bingsu - Sweet, icy and refreshing ✚ topped with ice cream and fairyfloss, always a good choice!

I recently visited Bean Sisters Cafe and had a pleasant experience overall. The food was decent — nothing extraordinary, but still satisfying. The presentation, however, was a standout, with dishes arriving beautifully plated. Service was friendly and efficient, which added to the positive experience.

While the food could use a bit more flair to match the high standard of presentation, it’s still a cozy spot worth visiting. Overall, I’d rate it a solid 4/5.

Welcoming and friendly staff.
I ordered the soft shell crab salad and strawberry lemonade drink. The soft shell crab was cooked well and salad was fresh. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing on a hot day.
Decent price for the portion. I'd highly recommend and I'll be back again.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews—I prefer to support small businesses with positive feedback—but I feel this experience was disappointing enough that it’s worth sharing.

I was walking across the street when the dĂ©cor of Bean Sisters CafĂ© caught my eye. It looked charming from the outside, and I was excited to step in, try something, and take a few photos for a Google Maps review—something I often do to highlight local spots.

However, as soon as I entered, the experience took a turn. The woman behind the counter seemed uncomfortable speaking English, which made communication quite difficult. I asked for tea, and after about a minute of trying to explain, she eventually told me they only had chamomile. I was a bit surprised by the limited choice, but politely said I’d take one.

Then I asked—very clearly and respectfully—if it would be okay to take a photo of the space, even showing my camera to be transparent. Her response was unexpectedly harsh. She loudly said “NO! NO PHOTOS HERE!” in a tone that felt very rude and unwelcoming. I hadn’t even started taking photos yet—I was just asking for permission.

The interaction left such a bad impression that I canceled my tea order and left. I can’t comment on the food or drinks because I didn’t stay, but based on the service alone, it was not a pleasant experience. It’s unfortunate, as the place looked promising from the outside.

I hope this was just a one-off misunderstanding, but as a customer who approached with genuine interest and courtesy, I left feeling disrespected and disappointed.
