Absolutely stellar service, peerless coffee and the best breakfast burgers in the entire country.

Plus ample room for too many dogs (trust me, that number exists and I regularly brought them along), easy parking and a charming atmosphere.

My only lament is moving further away from this Cafe but it's honestly worth a 2 hour commute compared to what's local to me now.

Cannot recommend more highly.

We've discovered this lovely cafe in Canungra a while ago. Last Sunday we had our breakfast there. It was delicious. Our favorite place is at the window overlooking the green lawn and surrounded mountain ridges. I love the plants in cafe, they are plentiful, beautiful Geraniums decorated the window. The service was friendly and pleasant. We like this cafe, it is relaxed and cozy. Thanks to the owners and the staff.

Order halloumi roll, out come a broich burger with 2 pieces of halloumi, spinach, (frozen) avocado and tomato $15. Oh did I mention the bun was burnt. A roll is NOT a burger, the whole thing was pretty bad. Wife ordered a hash brown stack, 2 hashes, spinach, avocado, bacon and poached eggs with hollandaise sauce. The sauce is brought in crap, again frozen avocado, $ 18, just a total disappointment after all the hype. Presentation looks great, but unseasoned, bland food. Coffee was not to bad, but that's it.

$50.50 for this.

We had great coffee from here on the Saturday so we decided to go back on the Sunday, I ordered an iced latte but did ask for it in a medium takeaway cup because I really don’t like a lot of milk I like it to taste strong and often the iced latte cups are to big, I was told that she could add extra ice to the iced latte and I said okay, I thought she understood that I didn’t want a lot of milk but when it came out I had just received a regular size regular ice, iced latte
I don’t like complaining so it took a bit for my to try and ask for it to be remade and when I finally did, I’m pretty sure they just tipped out some of the iced latte and gave me back the same coffee with more ice added… it was still pretty weak like drinking milk, I was a little sad but I took the coffee anyway because I didn’t have the guts to go back again, but I really don’t think I was asking for anything to complex, just an iced latte in a medium takeaway cup so it tasted a little stronger
I’m writing a review in the hopes that someone will see this because the customer pays for the coffee and should be able to enjoy drinking it

We ordered steak sandwiches takeaway. The steak was mostly gristle and very hard to chew. Comes with a small handful of chips, cost $26!!!! My friend got a can of coke, $4! We are locals but will not be back. The only thing that was nice was the chips?

I recently visited this cafe and ordered the "hash stack" which was supposed to include 3 hash browns (it’s clearly stated in the menu). However, I was only given 2. When I brought this to the attention of our waiter, she refused to give another hash brown and instead, informed me that the menu had been recently changed and now only includes 2 hash browns.

I'm disappointed that the menu didn't reflect this change, and I feel like I was misled into paying for something that I didn't receive. It's important for a restaurant to be transparent about their menu offerings, especially when changes are made. It’s also important to mediate the situation as necessary instead of giving it’s customer another excuse.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant and would caution others to double-check their orders and the menu before making a purchase.
