A friendly staff member kindly booked me in after hours, which I appreciated. However, the experience was disappointing overall. The toilet in the room was not clean, which was unpleasant. I stayed in Room 111, which was extremely noisy due to a nearby machine (possibly a generator) that ran throughout the night and made it difficult to sleep.

The Beagle has had its ups and downs over the last few years, however it now seems to be very much back on track. The rooms are all being upgraded and the restaurant will be opening back up in July (hopefully). The staff are super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. And I have to say, the bed was so comfortable! Thanks Beagle Hotel, I will definitely be back to this small, clean, facility.

Our second stay here in 12 months and what a disappointment this was. The entire place has gone to the dogs. Very untidy and unkept surroundings. A simple drink on the outdoor tables was not possible due to the dirty tables, chairs and unkept garden.

This is by far the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. Rubbish on the floor, even the walls are dirty and peeling. Can’t use the small table because it’s about to collapse, can’t hang my towel on the towel rail because it’s broken, sawdust in the kettle, even the ceiling has crusty food that someone has thrown on it. I come to Katherine every month for work and will never stay here again.

I stayed a night for bus connecting .The place is not too far from the bus stop, around 4 block - the staff is friendly . The room is not much clean, but acceptable. Duvet had smell. Door lock isn’t look safe. Have loud noise at night around midnight from the local people’s fight. Overall is ok.

We have stayed here before and it would seem that nothing much in the room quality has changed. It’s suitable for a night or 2. Manager and staff were lovely and extremely helpful. We dined at the restaurant and there was a limited but nice menu. We opted for pizza and it came with great toppings and was nice and hot. The bed was a king size bed and quite comfortable but overall we think the rooms really need a tidy-up. Some grout in the tiles would be good and maybe a general paint job to just freshen things up. Curtains are cosmetic but can make or break a room. Our room sure needed them. The room was nice and clean but details like 2 cups are a must. If you are tall watch the verandah roof even though small signs are splashed about they don’t stand out and a hit on the head is quite easy. There is no breakfast but the sure had a super fast internet. The hotel is close to town. I understand they have issues with power tripping the whole motel so this is a concern. There is no microwave or toaster in the room. We would use this place as a stop over again.

Friendly staff, our rooms fridge did not work, but the inside fridge door light worked.
Desperately needs to be revamped, no shower mat, no face cloths or hand towels.

dirty budget motel, room not cleaned, mould on fridge door and bathroom tiles, smells, unpleasant staff and awful food. Far too expensive, it's equal to a 1/2 star in Paris (and that's being generous).
Keep well away.
