Excellent resort in Ulverstone. Food was excellent and great location. Superb interior in room and super clean. Very nice place to stay with family. The rooms were very comfortable and the restaurant food was very delicious. And last thing Breakfast included in the cost was great.

We stayed in an executive room, just myself and my 9 year old son, for one night whilst visiting friends and family in Ulverstone.||I would highly recommend staying in the executive rooms as they are much newer and don’t seem to have some of the issues of the older rooms. We never had any trouble. ||We had babies in both rooms beside us and never heard any noise all night. ||The rooms have been nicely renovated with a good shower, large tv, new AC unit and comfortable beds.||Check in/check out was quick and easy, again we had no issues with timing or the service we received. ||The heated pool is a nice bonus though we couldn’t find any pool towels in our room. They need more seating around the pool and the area looks a little drab. ||As for the downsides, we have a 4x4 and found the off street parking to be difficult. The angled parking and limited turning areas make it near impossible to get a big vehicle out. We parked on the street instead. ||We also had a very bright light right outside our room that was on all night. The curtains didn’t have boxing around the top and light streamed in as bright as day. We thankfully were able to use spare towels across the top to stop it, but this should have been rectified in the renovation as it would be easy to fix.||For $120 a night the executive room was well worth the price and I wouldn’t stay in any other room type when visiting in the future.

We visited the restaurant one evening as it is pet friendly and we were able to sit outside with our dog. There don't seem to be any other pet friendly restaurants in Ulverstone.
The restaurant was around half full inside and empty outside. There seemed to be just one person running everything - check in, the bar and the restaurant, but she did a great job balancing it all. The meals were generous and came out without any great delay. My only criticism was that the lasagne was lukewarm. The glasses of wine were reasonably priced. Not a huge range, but I found one I liked.
It's not gourmet, but perfectly good for an enjoyable evening out.

Very nice maintain place! If you’re looking for accommodation near Devenport or Ulverstone, this is the right place. Not too expensive and the rooms are clean and food is delicious. You can enjoy pool in summer and spring. Very close to the beach 🏖️

One night stay recently for work. I wont stay again. |- Despite being only half full, I was given a room between two others when I could have been further away. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything next door.|- As a female solo traveller, travelling for work, I felt very unsafe as there was no chain on the interior of the room to secure the door if it was forced. |- Room key broke when I first tried to open the door and my card has since been debited an exorbitant amount for replacement. There was no discussion, documentation or receipt provided regarding this. Given that the next key worked it is obvious that the initial one was already damaged however they will not engage in discussion and are ignoring my emails.|Room was clean.

From burnt medium rare steaks, dry lasagne, having to ask to get a bowl in the room to the atrocities of buying out of date beer that seemed like a joke to the bartenders this place is a roller-coaster of disappointed from one hill to the next. For $150 a night for a single room i would expect more than a clean toilet (the toilet brush was a piece of faeces on it next to the loo). Needless to say I almost drove home to have a warm shower that didn't have a laminated piece of paper with a ten step instruction to get it to work rather than stay in this abomination again. Can't advise strongly enough for anyone looking for a semi cheep place to spend a night to look elsewhere
