We booked this BnB at Bundeena so we could explore the Royal National Park. We stayed in the separate beach studio surrounded by lawns and palms absolute beach front to Hordens Beach. Every detail was thought out by our friendly Hosts Hans and Maureen. From bacon,eggs, chocolates and a beautiful bottle of champagne to start a fantastic weekend away. There was an outside spa with privacy, BBQ and many beautiful spots to sit and enjoy the garden, beach and wildlife all 20 metres onto the sand and 100 metres to a few small good shops. We would love to go back, everything was perfect.

The dream weekend away. A beautiful haven in a beautiful town. Exceptional service, welcome champagne, complimentary breakfast, towels, robes and a tour so you can be totally independent and enjoy the privacy at the property. Beach views, green, lush set up, outside seating, bbq, candles and most importantly a secluded Jacuzzi to enjoy your wine in. I would recommend to anyone looking for a trip away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you so much hans and Maureen we will be back very soon!

From the moment we arrived Hans & Maureen made us feel like we were part of their family. We had drinks &, snacks every afternoon & if we required anything further it was never a problem.
The grounds & suite accommodation is excellent & a pleasure to find a listing that is "what you see is actually what you get". We had the best relaxing time while at Beachhaven & look forward to going again as soon as possible.

I booked Beachhaven last minute to get away for two nights on my own in late April. I wanted somewhere peaceful, relaxing, secluded, but with great views and within a close distance from Sydney. Beachhaven, which is located on Horderns Beach in Bundeena, was everything I wanted, and a great base from which to explore the Royal National Park once I got over the relaxation!||||There are two self-contained suites on the property. I stayed in "The Beachhouse" which is separate from the main building and very close to the beach with great views, but as it is blocked from the beach (the property is elevated on a small ridge with plants and there is a small flight of stairs and gate leading directly to the beach) there is still privacy and safety. "The Tudor Suite" is bigger but further away from the beach and adjoining the main building. I was told this is better suited to couples with a young child, but otherwise I would definitely recommend The Beachhouse.||||Both have an indoor spa bath, kitchenette, and comfortable king-sized bed with electric blanket. There is a garden/lawn with fountain and poolside beds overlooking the beach. There is also a clean outdoor hot tub which was kept heated all day, and it was just amazing to jump in on a chilly April night when my legs were sore from walking all day!||||Hans & Maureen who run the B&B were so incredibly lovely and helpful - I really felt they were like my grandparents without the intrusiveness!They provided fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, bread, muesli, juice, milk, condiments, dark chocolate, bottles of water and a bottle of champagne free of charge. They also gave good tips on places to eat (there is an IGA and good cafes 200m away and a bowling club 5 mins walk away which is in desperate need of revamping but had decent food) as well as walks to do in the Royal National Park - I did Garrie Beach to Figure 8 Pools (highly recommended though somewhat difficult) as well as the Wedding Cake Rock walk.||||I will definitely return to Beachhaven the next time I need a quick getaway to what feels like a tropical island paradise but is only a 45 minute drive south from Sydney!

This quiet waterfront location was excellent and the warm welcome we received from Hans was appreciated. We had a fridge full of food provided and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy and the furnishings were unique. The tropical garden reminded me of being in Malaysia. I can't wait to come back.

Wonderful host. Hans and Maureen are very friendly and helpful.
Beach house have all necessities. Stayed there with hubby and bubba. Even though beach house is a bit smaller than the other suite, we could still manage with no issues with an infant.
Enjoyed a glass of wine along with Hans as we BBQ our dinner.
And had a fantastic moment over new year eve with Hans n Maureen who invited us over for dinner at their place. We enjoyed our meal and had a nice chat while Maureen looked after bubby. She's so good with babies! We had a great evening with them.
Great spot.
5 mins walk to IGA, local cafes and the wharf.
20 mins Ferry trip from cronulla to bundeena every 1 hr, making bundeena very accessible to the rest of the world 🙂
Garden a delight and extremely well maintained. Not to forget the Jacuzzi with ocean view.

A really fantastic B&B; luxurious rooms with plenty of privacy and an amazing stretch of beach on your doorstep. Plenty of cafes and food within 2 minutes walk, a fantastic beach on your doorstep, a national park a short walk away. And if the weather isn't cooperating, you can always watch the sunset over the beach from the hot tub.

This is our 5th year staying with Hans and Maureen our warm and gracious hosts. I'm sitting on the day bed at the front of the beach house listening to the chorus of cockatoos, parakeets, galahs and kookaburras who come through every afternoon near 5pm before they settle in the Bush nearby. The backdrop sound is the constant rolling of the "surf" - its rarely bigger than 30 to 60 cm. It's raining softly but i'm dry under the awning. We drive in and park on site on arrival, and don't touch the car again until we leave. We cook breakfast with supplied goodies, but lunch and dinner are just a short walk across the park, as is the supermarket if you need anything. The room is very comfortable, but it's the location and the warm and unintrusive welcome from our hosts that sets this place apart. It's a short drive from our home in sydney so we don't spend our precious holiday time getting here. The beach is at the bottom of the garden in which we practice our strict routine of eat, read, swim, sleep: repeat.
