Went for dinner with my teenage daughter tonight to try out the new menu. Had been craving steak and seafood so I ordered the eye fillet steak with the grilled scallop and creamy garlic prawn toppers (yes both). My daughter also got the eye fillet steak with gravy. Both cooked medium rare. The steaks and seafood were cooked to absolute perfection! The steak melted in our mouths as we ate them. Did not disappoint. Hats off to your chef they know great steak and seafood. My only request is to add creamy garlic sauce to your steak sauce options as you can only get it with the garlic prawn topper and it's such a popular option.
The bug and prawn pasta dish came out just as we were leaving and looked absolutely amazing that will be what I try next after such a great experience with the seafood today 🙂

The meals were great!

Unfortunately though, the till was down when I went to order our meals. The lady at the counter explained that she would be out to take our order at our table when it was fixed, but she didn't. It wasn't until I noticed other people's meals being served that I realised she'd forgotten about us.
I ended up ordering from the counter after explaining what had happened, no apology was offered 🙃

I feel like the chicken parmigianas have gone down hill. The taste is not the same and it almost seems like the schnitzel is processed now. The salad and chips were fairly good but when you are paying nearly $30 for a parmigiana I expect it to be pretty good. Also there were all these black bits in the schnitzel (see photo).

Wonderful and happy greeting upon arrival by staff member. Suggested to either eat in the dining area or have a few drinks at the pub area as you could also oder your meals and eat in the pub area which we did. Very happy with our meals. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our night enjoyable 😉

We were extremely disappointed with the experience. The portion size of the schnitzel and the parmigiana were kids meal portions. There were 4 chips offered on my son’s main course meal and my husband’s chicken was the size of a tenderloin. Additionally they all came with salad with no option to switch out to veg, I requested this when ordering and was forced to speed an additional 16 dollars to have veg served with the meal. When we addressed the portion size with the wait staff the kitchen confirmed it was too bad and nothing was done to compensate us. The wait staff were then rude and unhelpful. The pork dish was underwhelming and delivered nothing that was promised on the menu description. The duck fat potatoes were soggy and obviously not cooked in duck fat or seasoned. There was no flavour of miso in the beans, the apple reduction non existent and the jus promised was just the packet gravy served up with the schnitzal.
Paul was the only shining light in a terrible experience who attempted to rectify the problems for us and sort the manager for support. The manager Maddison was professional and took our feedback and I requested a refund of my husbands child’s portion meal which she obliged. I would never return knowing the kitchen and wait staff are so dismissive of customer feedback.

This place is a must visit when in Hervey Bay! The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food was amazing!

A very nice place to have lunch. Sitting on the Verandah, watch the world go by - having cold beers and a very tasty Seafood Pizza! Friendly staff and everything is spotless. The menu is extensive - lots to choose.

To celebrate my friend and I ordered the Macadamia Barumundi meal. We loved the flavour, colours, texture, spices, it was so special. Thankyou we will be back
