Just needs maintenance in the rooms.
Stayed twice within weeks and observed wall toilet roll holder needed help, spa bath knobs could be pulled out, front door needed a brick to keep open, architrave holding the bedroom drapes were deteriorated.
Didn’t find anything unhygienic and the two different rooms we stayed in were still comfortable to sleep in.
Heated outdoor pools were in great condition, walk to the private beach was 100 metres.

Overall, it was a good experience and would visit again.

Not sure why the bad reviews. Stayed here for one night, room was very nice, awesome view of the ocean, good airflow, the aircon worked good. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The two issues I had was the light, the blinds didn’t block out much sunlight at all in the morning, and the rooms aren’t very soundproof. Other than that it was Pretty good.

The room was very shabby. It definitely needs a renovation. The carpet was dirty, I actually didn’t have the nerve to walk on it barefoot! Bathroom door didn’t close completely, and the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. We booked the one bedroom apartment with sofa bed/trundle, and we weren’t even given any linen for it. Luckily, I had packed some sheets just Incase. The balconies were dirty, and there was mould on the curtains. The door stopper that lead into our apartment was a large rock, no joke. We paid a lot of money to stay here in peak season, but it was definitely not worth it. I chose this apartment because it was the only one available that was higher than 3 star at the time of booking, however, I wouldn’t even give it 2 stars. very disappointing, I would not recommend anyone waste their money here. I strongly recommend the owners invest a bit of money into their property and make it worthy of the rate they charge per night.

Was disappointed with the motel, booked for the spa, it was dirty, the jets had the silver off them , wasn't game enough to use. the outdoor furniture, had mismatched seats. one was the cane chair, the other a plastic chair. The other outdoor chair had mould all over the cushion. the views are nothing like what is shown in the pictures. we could only see a small amount of ocean from our room.
The motel is noisy. so much for a nice relaxing romantic weekend away. Definitely not 4 star rating.

Without a doubt the most disappointing and disgusting hotel/apartment we have ever experienced. The room was absolutely unliveable, unhygienic does not even begin to do justice to the conditions of this place. The carpets have clearly not been cleaned in a VERY long time, we didn’t even feel comfortable walking on them without shoes. The bed was awful and did not even have a bed spread that went all the way to the bottom of the bed. There was mould and dirt all over the bathroom and shower. Everything about this place was disgusting. We only stayed for 2 hours and then decided copping the 6 hour drive back to Sydney beat staying in this place. The accommodation is refusing a refund because we didn’t want to cause a scene and say anything at checkout and rather sent them an email voicing our complaints. I would highly recommend NOT staying here.

After making a booking and then reading reviews we were second guessing our choice of accomodation, only to be surprised, the horror stories (for us anyway) weren’t true. Carpet wasn’t wet, room didn’t have a strange odour. Check in was no dramas. The staff we came across were very polite. New Tv in the room, bed frame & bedside tables were obviously new. Sheets & towels were of decent quality, bathroom was clean. We had a nice balcony with ocean views. To be completely honest, the only disappointing thing was we couldn’t get a drink in the bar and a meal but we were told due to covid & staff shortages food and beverage was closed on Monday’s, so completely understandable. Wouldn’t black list this place like some have done. Would return.

We didn’t expect a lot for the price ($150 per night) but you do expect the furniture etc to be in good condition. The lounge was broken (they even had a sign to tell us so) and sagged horribly into the centre. The toilet seat was loose so moved when you sat down. The blinds in the lounge room were falling off. The kitchen sink plug didn’t fit. No frypan. No sharp knives. One pot. Remote with no batteries. Two pieces of timber leaning against the lounge/dining wall. No shower door so the floor gets dangerously slippery. Dishes were still in the dishwasher when we arrived. No time knob on the clothes dryer so that’s unusable. Bed sheets are so noisy you wake everyone up when you turn over during the night.
Not only won’t be back, will tell everyone we know to avoid the place. Judging by the other reviews, they don’t care because there’s plenty of other poor reviews.

This place was filthy, loud and smelly. It did not look ANYTHING like the photos and the spa bath was not clean enough to be used. ||||When we enquired about using our stays vouchers over the phone, the reception were great. They told to go ahead and book through bookings.com and they’d sort it out on arrival. When we arrived, they said ‘no’, because we’d booked through a website we couldn’t use the vouchers.||||When we arrived we dropped our bags and went to dinner, disappointed at the state of the place, but unaware of the fact that the door to the room DID NOT LOCK!!! As we only discovered this at 9pm, reception were not available. When we went to speak with them in the morning, they found us a different room, but we’re evasive about refunding or admitting that the room was below standard. The second room was better in that it locked up, but it was still pretty gross. Run down, cheap, dodgy linen, higgledy-piggedly EVERYTHING. There were no extra blankets in the cupboards or spare pillows. ||||A total drive. I imagine Millhouse’s dad living here one day.
