We had a lovely stay, the Villas were quiet (low season) and spacious, ideally placed for the town centre, the beach and marina. Mandy was very helpful with tour booking and a special shout out to Rhian who helped us out of a pickle to sort transport when a coach company let us down. She’s a star!

We stayed at Bay Villas for 3 nights and found it to be really lovely and an affordable price. They had everything we needed, including a nice little kitchen set up, which was super helpful because we didn’t have our own cooking things with us. The location was only a 5minute or so walk from the beach and local shops. We would definitely stay here again.

The room where we stayed was very dingy & tired & not value for money. .
Towel rail was broken from one end, microwave was rusty, no RCD in Bathroom which was risky using hair dryer, no tap mixer in the wash basin.

The bed was comfortable & the heat pump & TV worked well.

Location was central & walking distance to main town Centre.

Other motels in the same vicinity we checked out were similar priced & in good condition.

Simon & Kathy from New Zealand had a few nights here in June before going to Cairns good room, nice people and a great location. Walkable to town lots of parking and a nice pool. Easy to find even in the dark The segway place was accross the road which was handy. As with most places the people make all the differance these owners/staff were great

Great place, great location. Rooms are a bit tired. It was disappointing to be placed in an apartment where the bathroom was leaking into the wardrobe. flooding carpet, which was a known unresolved issue. The apartment was very musty on arrival.

Nice quiet location with comfy beds and nice pillows (always a bonus!). Our one bedroom unit was modern with new furniture and loads of space. It was great having the option to park the car under cover especially during the day. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The only thing that was annoying were other noisy guests especially by the pool, as the sound carries upwards but can definitely recommend the apartments themselves.

Great value for money. A few hundred meters to the beach. Shops and restaurants less the 10min stroll away. The heated pools are great.

Overall this accommodation was ok. We used it as a base for the 3 nights that we were in Port Douglas. Good location to marina and the local town, friendly recption staff. Rooms need a cosmetic "lift". Whilst we appreciate the wildlife, we did find our balcony was infested with flies which meant we didn't use the balcony. Otherwise, good stopping point for a few nights
