Love this place. Perfect for the kids. There is a big pool for laps, a kids pool, a smaller kids pool that is like a spa / has bubbles and also a spa for adults (children over 16yr to use). Big slide open on weekends and school holidays. Only down fall is if you leave and want to re enter later you must pay again as your paying for a 'casual visit'.

Terrible customer service from every single staff member in the centre. Waited for over 20 mins for the nuggets to arrive with the chips that were thrown on the table in front of my family. Nuggets were burnt chips were cooked twice and cold by time got thrown at us. Waste of money and very let down about the whole day, frequently visit the centre on our family holidays but will be sure to give this place a miss from now on. Sad to see how much this place has changed over the years. Maybe some new younger staff would help instead of the knitting club behind the counter ..

Make a wise choice re the time you go in peak tourist times. If the weather is not good beach weather either go early or later otherwise its like standing room only in the pools. Must life guards are great but you have people trying to do what they would normally do at the beach such as ball games. Last time got hit twice by a ball. Also huge queues for water slide so don't get value for tickets bought. Swimming lessons are so very vital but often take up the best pool spots especially on Saturdays but not this time of the year.
However, a great centre which I will continue to use with a little wisdom re times go.

We love going to the pool here! The staff are always friendly and the swimming lessons are effective and fun. The indoor water slide is such a fun element. Perfect for families 🙂

Unfriendly and sexist is what I would call this environment!.
I am a local visitor of the leisure centre, and go to the gym often but today, I was told of by a middle aged women with dark hair who told me to leave because I had no shoes on, but when I was leaving she told a male that they had no shoes on too and walked off as if nothing and didn’t tell them to leave.
I also heard her saying stuff about me as I was leaving.

The two young lifeguards on this morning 07/09 need serious retraining on their jobs, to busy looking anywhere other than the pool and acting bored out of their brains when it's their turn to man the water slides,not making children wait and letting them pile down on top of each other.

Fantastic location and beautiful facility. The water slide was a big hit with the kids. I didn't use the gym but it looked really great and seemed well equipped.

I go to this place mostly for the gym. The staff that work in the area are polite and happy to help you if you need a little assistance. Everything has a good routine of being clean, there are signs with indicators on how to use the machines, what area if muscle they work, and have wipes near by to clean them up after your use to keep it clean for everyone. You are able to buy food here with good prices. The pools are kept neat with a good system. There are plenty of space in the change rooms and many stalls, some with showers. Everything is set up very well and organised. ?
