Absolutely shocked. Tonight I ordered a chicken parmigiana and found a piece of metal cooked into the potato. I pulled it out of my mouth. When the owner lady was informed, she said ‘that’s impossible, I only cook with plastic.’ … anyway she said she would give me cake which I declined. She refused to take the meal off the bill when my mother went to pay and gave her two pieces of cake instead. I know things can happen and there may be accidents where something falls into food while being cooked - but the lack of sincerity or care is the problem. Not a single ‘sorry about that’. Not coming back. Pic of the meal I left behind. Gross.

The food was done really well, traditional German cooked to Perfection. generous serves reasonable prices. I've been there before a long time ago and it has not changed. it's still a great little restaurant.

We had a meal at this place and while the food was okay, the service was quite disappointing. The owner's attitude was very unprofessional. At one point, she took the tablet away from a staff member while she was assisting other customers, which created a really uncomfortable atmosphere for both the staff and the guests. How staff are treated reflects on the whole experience — and in this case, it was unpleasant. I won’t be coming back.

Great service, food and cocktails we had pork knuckle, spinach spatzle, pierogi, chicken schnitzel and pretzels. The German beer, cherry liquor and peach martini were next level.

We (two Germans from near Cologne and Munich) came here for lunch after having driven past so many times. We had a pretzel, spätzle and the sausage platter and it all tasted great! The potatoes on the sausage platter tasted just like at Oma's back in Bavaria and the service was great too. Would recommend coming here!

Great food but unfortunately no Polish food on the menu. However I really enjoyed my Kassler and the family al loved their meals.
Unfortunately this great little place is about to close next month (July) so I highly recommend you go before it closes down.

We went to Bavarian Blue with some friends. Beforehand, I was curious how authentic and how good the food would be there. I myself come from Germany and have lived in Bavaria for more than 20 years.
The menu listed a lot of German dishes and original drinks. Chicken Parmigiana was a bit out of place, but apparently it is a must on a menu in Australia. But there was also curry sausage, which you can eat everywhere in Germany ...
I had pork knuckle for lunch and the others had goulash, barbecue and schnitzel, among other things.
The Pork Knuckle was one of the best I had had in Australia so far. Very tender, juicy and a wonderful flavour. The knuckle was well done, and the meat was easy to pull off the bone. Likewise, the sauerkraut was incredible, not too sour and cooked properly.
Traditionally, you could order original Bavarian wheat beer to go with it (or various other German beers).
The service was friendly and the service was good. Overall, I can highly recommend Bavarian Blue. Our friends were also delighted. We will definitely come again.

Food was good, knuckle i belive was frozen (not 100% sure) and a bit dry in the middle due to being recooked i suppose. Very slow service though, maybe because we were first to arrive but we waited half an hour for sure. Very expensive too, not alot of value. Waiters were young and undertrained but very nice. Wierd that they didnt offer mustard, and when we asked for some more we got a little side looks. Overall okay experience but not outstanding though.
