My partner and I stayed in one of the Mews apartments for a weekend. The apartment we had was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and had a great view of the mountains looking back towards Lithgow. The apartments are located in the centre of town yet nice and quiet. The management were welcoming and helpful: suggesting places to eat and things to do in Bathurst (which was great for us becuase we really didn't know the town). Overall a great place to stay and we will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Bathurst. Highly recommended!

We have stayed several times in the Bathurst Heritage Apartments over the last 4 years, and find them a perfect solution to different ages and stages of family staying together. We are always amazed at how quiet they are, given their central location. They are clean and beautifully maintained, have secure undercover parking, and are only a a short walk from everything - cafes, galleries, parks & pubs. There is also a lift so moving your luggage from car to apartment is very easy. Reverse cycle air - con is very effective. Management is always friendly and helpful, even when you have a senior moment and leave something behind. Thank you - we will definitely be back.

Clean and comfortable but bed incredibly firm. Centrally located within walking distance of most things. The pictures give the impression that the apartments are part of the historic heritage Royal Hotel. Please be aware that this is completely wrong and disappointing.It is a separate part at the back in a modern building. Hardly heritage. If you are looking for a historic heritage place to stay there are other options. The original Royal Hotel looks sad and empty with ground floor tenants who have clearly just left. Many years ago there was a fight to prevent it being demolished. Now others are trading off its name without contributing. Simply wrong!

I stayed here for five nights while doing some work in Bathurst. The location can't be beat, right downtown and convenient to groceries, restaurants, coffee shops, and retail. The accommodations were beautiful, updated and spacious with a great kitchen, two bedrooms, and two baths plus balcony. The main bath included a nice soaker tub plus separate shower. Wifi was strong and reliable. The only thing I could fault slightly would be the air conditioning, as it was very hot during most of my time in Bathurst (100F/38C) and while the main living area and kitchen stayed very cool and comfortable, the main floor bedroom though acceptable (but would have preferred cooler) at night was warm in the day, and the upstairs loft bedroom stayed very warm night and day. I wasn't using the upstairs space so it wasn't a big deal but just wanted to make note for others. Overall, the lodging and management here were awesome. I would highly recommend it and would absolutely stay here again when next in Bathurst.

The apartments are well located, very spacious and comfortable. By arrangement, we were met on arrival and very warmly welcomed. The modern unit we had was eclectically furnished and faced the morning sun. It was very quiet considering the central location. There is undercover, secure parking in the building. Some tourist information in the room and a small container of fresh milk for a cup of tea on arrival would be a nice addition. We would stay again.

We arrived in Bathurst late in te afternoon and did not like our choice of hotels. We went to the Information Center and they gave us information on several accommodations which included this one. ||Great space! Great location! It had everything we wanted. A spacious two bedroom two bad complete with a kitchen and washer/dryer.||We stayed four nights. I'd recommend this place to anyone staying in Bathurst and will stay again if I return.

We stayed in ElmTree Cottage which comes under the umbrella of Bathurst Heritage Apartments and Cottages...not sure why as we paid directly to the owner where the cottage is on her property? Anyway the cottage itself is clean, tidy and well equipped and the owner, Lyn, is very nice and gave us a great tip of a nearby village (Millthorpe...gorgeous) that we should see. Cottage is on a corner block of a roundabout outside of town center and was quiet other than the possums partying all hours.We chose this cottage as it was dog friendly but no secure yard fenced for visiting dogs which is a shame. Not an issue for one night stay. The pictured pergola on the website isn't attached to the cottage but the owners house....bummer. Also the gardens need a general tidy up.

We have booked with Bathurst Apartments and Cottages to accommodate our 5th year students who are on rural placement in Bathurst. The students have raved about the accommodation and the service provided. James the Manager has been great to deal with being really helpful prior to our booking and in the follow up, he has been really helpful to the students who are unfamiliar with the area. We will definitely be booking further accommodation with Bathurst Heritage Apartment and Cottages
