Nice location, scenery and country pub vibe. Got some pizzas. Nicely cooked, toppings to the edge, wood fired tastes. Probably only too much cheese, but for the great price, I left full and happy 😊

A fantastic way to spend an afternoon at the outdoor beer garden on a summer’s day. There was live music and lots of room for kids to run about. The food was good and menu had a variety like Chicken Parma, burger, barrimundi and pizzas. The service was 4 star instead of 5 as my daughters nuggets took half hour after all our meals been served and we had to go up tot he counter to check twice.

An outdoor table under an umbrella makes for a perfect Sat lunch spot. A variety of share plates on the menu, with three being ordered. The open window that allows ordering of food & drinks from outside is most helpful. Cured kingfish was a light dish that needed a bit more seasoning. Croquettes and then meatballs both full flavoured. Garden area out the back had various birthday parties enjoying the grassed shady areas. Top

Cosy atmosphere with the open fire. Food excellent and well presented. I had the beef cheeks that was succulent and delicious. Sticky date pudding was delicious also. Very generous serving of all food.Staff friendly and attentive. Thanks James for a great night. Will be back soon!

I was fortunate enough to have my Bridal Shower at the Batesford Hotel on the 11/01/2025. We had full use of the sunroom for 5 hours on the day which served as the perfect, affordable and private room to spend the afternoon with the girls and celebrate my upcoming wedding. We were easily able to liaise with the venue to bring our own decorations to suit the theme. The staff were amazing to work with from the start to the finish. I especially want to thank Rachel, their event coordinator, who was extremely helpful and responsive prior to and on the day to ensure that we had the best afternoon. Despite a very busy service day at the venue, the food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much again for having us. I would definitely recommend this pub as a must to visit, as well as their amazing space for hosting an event.

Staff and food were of the highest quality. It was a little bit noisy but it was also a Saturday night full of families and children. There was nothing negative otherwise whatsoever. The ambience with the fireplace was just perfect for a cold winter’s night. We loved it so much that we went back the next day for lunch. It was a lot quieter but the food and staff were still fantastic. Definitely worth the visit.

We had the most wonderful experience at the Batesford Hotel. From the moment we toured the space, we knew it was the perfect place to say "I do." Rachel the events manager was incredibly helpful, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our day special. The venue itself is stunning—beautifully maintained grounds, elegant indoor spaces, and picture-perfect backdrops everywhere you look.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was, how delicious the food was and how smoothly the day went. Every detail was handled with care, and we felt so supported throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!
