Right from the start, I was VERY impressed with the friendliness, kindness and care of the reception staff. I'd suddenly needed somewhere to stay in Geelong while my Mum was in hospital, & they were very helpful & flexible in accommodating our needs. The park had a very relaxed & friendly atmosphere, (helped by the friendly staff you see around the place), adding to the lovely "home away from home" feeling this place has. The cabin itself was very warm & cosy in the cold weather (it had an electric blanket on the bed, which was wonderful in winter!) & very comfortable. It was all set up very well, including great cooking facilities with everything you need. It was a very positive, friendly experience at a very difficult time for me. I'd gladly come back again for a holiday sometime!

It was a lovely stay, the ladies in the reception were lovely and welcoming. It was clean and comfy and our kids loved riding around on the bikes and it was quiet and safe enough to let them. The heated pool on a cold winter's day was a hit with them too.

Absolutely fantastic lodges and value for money. Couldn’t recommend the modern lodge I stayed in enough. Location is quiet and convenient, and just far enough from the main town centre that you don’t get affected by the nightlife. Is walking distance to Coles, Kmart, Pizza Hut and Bottle shop, as well as walking distance to bus and train services.

I stayed in one of the modern 5 person lodges for a few nights for the airshow and was extremely impressed. Lodge had a full modern and homely fit out, with quality cookware, modern furnishing and big modern bathroom to list a few, far better than any other accomodation for that price (or more expensive for that matter). I had a late check in and an early check out and both were accommodated for without issue. Lodge also had free wifi, modern TV’s (yes 2!) with all the streaming services (including Kayo), great air con, heated blankets for the main bed, oven, full size fridge, and heated bathroom for those cold mornings.

Park environment was also very nice and tame, was all just nice families or older couples on holidays when I was there.

Park manager was also very helpful and friendly. With such a nice homely feeling and so much room for the price, I will definitely be coming back and recommending it highly.

First visit on this accomodation. It was the cheapest accomodation we found during easter holiday that accomodate our needs, 2 adults 1 child 1 baby. Plenty options but we chose the 3 bed 1 bath cabin style. Masterroom has double bed and plenty storage and has fan. The other two rooms use bunk systems. Living room joined with dinning room and kitchen equiped with AC, fridge, stove, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses and mugs, and cooking equipments.
The size is ok for adults but not enough for baby.
The first impression was fault odour when entering the cabin, was not pleasant. It turned out the AC has nt been cleaned for quite sometime, thus we need to use our skill.
Otherwise the area is also being used for camping and RVs, therefore it has its amenities such as share bathroom toilet, laundry area, drying rail, bins as well as power sockets, water taps and waste disposal. Also has 2 playing grounds, jumping area, kart for hire and 2 swimming pool.
The staffs have been polite and helpful especially when we need a room clean and bed changes due to baby vomit.
It is recommended.

Comfortable and warm in winter, but dated family cabins in need of some upgrades. Heating only in living room. Electric blanket on double bed but only one side worked. Heat lamp in bathroom did not work. Bathroom very small and shower cabinet even smaller. We booked two family cabins but they turned out to be at opposite ends of the park. So OK I guess but could have been so much better.

ry disappointed with the service and management at Hampshire Holiday Park. We have been trying to get an answer to a simple question for over two months with no response. There is no phone number available, and getting in touch with anyone is nearly impossible.

You call yourselves a "family park," yet the way you treat your tenants is far from family-friendly. The behaviour from management has been unprofessional, with price increases issued with just one day's notice — completely unacceptable.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of communication and unfair treatment, I have no choice but to take legal action. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this park to anyone.

I can't comment on the rooms as we stayed in our rooftop tent.
We contacted the property on our way out of Tasmania on the boat and booked instantly a spot. Super efficient.
The property was central to the Spirit of Tasmania and we had a really comfortable night's stay.
We were in a bit of a predicament with our camper trailer and the owners were kind enough to offer a solution which was so much appreciated.

Great place, good for kids, clean and hospitable.

Reading some of the recent reviews, have to wonder how management could so upset a group, as our experience was completely different. We stayed two times relating to taking our caravan across to Tasmania. On both occasions management were helpful with issues we had with the van and our changing itinerary.

The location is convenient for shopping and getting to the Spirit terminal. We had no problems with the two different van sites.

Good people, and we'll return some day.
