Absolutely breathtaking! The silhouette of a person against the vibrant sunset creates such a magical atmosphere.
It's the kind of spot that makes you pause and appreciate the beauty around you. I could sit there for hours, soaking in the view and the calming sounds of the ocean.

And if you love sunset & cinematography, it’s a must visit for you.

Historically significant but can’t be access unless to join in a guided tour on Sunday. This is was a set where the Mission Impossible 2 had filmed. Not that easy to go down to the rocky shore & walk around for the elderly.

I can’t give it any more stars cos I didn’t go in but would love to one day. Still good to walk across the bridge and see it from outside. Nice views over Botony bay as well. Toilets nearby.

We visited as the 2.30pm tour was starting so we joined the group ($45 for a family of four - you can pay by card, no cash). Aillie was our tour guide and she made it an interesting hour long visit to Bare Island uncovering the history of this unique location.

An interesting place to visit. Easy to access with a nearby carpark. Visited it during the evening and the atmosphere is very nice - peaceful and quiet yet beautiful. There are some interesting spots to see the island from a different perspective. Do pop by if you happen to be around the area.

Island gate is close. Its only open for guided tour. But it doesn't mean you cannot enjoy the visit in the area. Its close to Congwong Beach close to the island and its not as busy as other beach in the area. Secondly you can walk to the bridge and take some awesome photos or or just go for a stroll with your family. I suggest Golden Hour if you want to take epic photos

Firstly, you need to be aware that the island is gated and locked generally. Access is by guided tour conducted by National Parks and Wildlife. Today we had a group of about 30, adults and children. Katie, our guide, was particularly child-friendly but informative when answering the adults' questions. It is a small island, so the tour only lasts about 45 mins. Well worth the few dollars charged. A beautiful place with an interesting history.

This is a great tourist island. Lots of big waves and the eroded stony beach was amazing to trek through.
