Terrific - best bakery in the area. We were staying in Falmouth, and despite being greeted by a spectacular sunrise, we quickly realized that the disadvantage of our isolationist living was no decent coffee nearby!
But not disheartened we headed to the Banjo's Bakery for our mandatory cappuccinos (extra hot) and Vanilla slice. Delicious.
Terrific service; friendly staff; a good start for the day. Now off to the Bay of Fires ......

Lovely Hot cross bun for the Easter. The service is very slow with just 2 ladies working on the counter while there is a long line of customers

First time at Banjos on our first day in Tassie. Glad we dropped by and stocked up. We first checked out the St Helens bakery, Pie Face and then came back to Banjos as their food looked the most appetising. Delicious pies with decent chunks of beef. We bought a beef, egg & bacon pie and a beef & mushroom pie. Both excellent and really delicious! Pastry was crispy, well cooked and just the right thickness. Enjoyed the pies tremendously with our lunch of oysters from Lease 65 and freshly made salad from the local IGA.

Also bought some date scones, blueberry and raspberry tarts and vanilla slice. We'll be keeping some for our trek at Cradle Mountain tomorrow. Perfect for our holiday in Tassie. Thank you again to the gentleman who served us, and thank you for the yummy food!😋

Went into the store at 5.46pm. Purchased a pie & wanted 2 large hot drinks. The young man asked a female staff member if they were still serving hot drinks to which she looked up and said No! Why advertise that you’re open till 6 pm if you don’t serve all that is offered. Serve your customers till the doors shut then clean up.

Banjos St Helens
Guy advised me to give the new (limited time) pulled beef pie a go.
My advice... do it before it's gone.
Has a zing with the jalapeno but boy what a cracker!
Recon I'll have to get another one before they're off the menu.

We love Banjo's

This was our first visit to a Banjo's establishment. We were greeted by a friendly staff member and the food we got was very fresh and tasted. The prices were pretty reasonable. Plenty of seating inside.

Great coffee and selection of pies. Tried the scallop pie and it was divine. I had a cold steak & mushroom pie later in the day and the pastry did not go all soggy.

Go up
