We stayed at Bangalay for 4 nights in October 2024 during school holidays. We encountered a few notable issues that made the trip less than perfect. ||1) The pool was advertised as a heated pool, but it was so cold during our stay so we couldn't make use of it at all.||2) Only 1 of 2 EV chargers was working. On our 3rd and 4th night, we couldn't charge at all because guests left their cars plugged in from 4pm til the next morning. Bangalay should put up signs to remind guests the common courtesy to unplug their cars after charging. Also to cover up the non-working EV charger, so that guests would be less inclined to leave their cars plugged into the only working charger all night. The receptionist at checkout tracked down that particular guest to unplug their vehicle. It was inconvenient we had to stay an hour to charge before we could make it home. ||3) The food at the restaurant was good, but very limited choices and it's not opened daily for lunch and dinner. It would be better if the restaurant expand the menu options and open daily during peak season. ||We appreciate the staff sorting out the EV charger situation at checkout. We were also very happy to receive a $100 dinning voucher for the school holidays promotion. The villa is well furnished with a functional kitchen and a laundry/dryer unit. Bangalay is located in an isolated location, with few food outlets and not many things to do. Next time we will bring some groceries and bike/scooter for the kids. Overall we had a good time and would definitely stay again in the future.

Our 5-night stay at Bangalay Luxury Villas was pure perfection! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home in our beautifully renovated and spacious villa. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips.

The food was incredible - every meal a culinary masterpiece! And the staff? Absolutely outstanding! Friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile.

Bangalay provided a truly unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway, look no further!

I had a lovely stay here. I stayed within a privately owned Villa and have to say my stay was truly unforgettable. The location is relaxing and very picturesque and the villa was cute & cozy. Whether you snuggle up close to the fireplace with a glass of wine or enjoy the resort pool, this place is ready to accomodate you. There are great wineries nearby, lovely little towns to explore and fabulous 7 mile beach right on your doorstep. Enjoy!

We are so lucky to have this beachside gem so close by.

The food, the wine, the whole compound is just stunning and unlike anything else nearby. Definitely a must check out - do the tasting menu if you have time and want to see some of the best the region has to offer.

Wow!!! What an incredible stay! My bestfriend and I headed away for a girls weekend and this was the perfect spot. The staff were incredibly friendly and so helpful. The rooms are amazing and so comfortable and modern.
We ate breakfast which was such good quality and had some of their famous margaritas in the afternoon which were dangerously good!
We can not wait to come back and already looking at booking our next stay with the whole family.

Everything about this resort is perfectly done.
Lovely large villas with small very well stocked kitchenette
Fabulous restaurant with great coffee breakfast and dinners
Faultless caring and professional service from all the staff
We couldn’t fault this place and would definitely stay again.
By far one of the best places to stay on south coast.

We had a fun family weekender at Bangalay & could not fault it. The rooms are quiet, comfy & modern. Great beds & ammenities outlook to the golf course. The restaurant served up excellent coffee, breakfast, pastries & service from all staff hotel & restaurant were so friendly & nice.

The place itself is very close to the beach, local shops & major places like Berry (15m drive).

We honestly cannot wait to go back again and bring some friends next time. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Very comfortable accomodation and a lovely setting. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. The location also great being just a short walk to the beach and a lovely short walk through the bush to the inlet. Highly recommended.
